I'm planning to contact Karscher Philippines in the coming week since I'm in the market for a more robust pressure washer. I'll be using it double duty kasi: one is for the car (which is easy) and one is removing the grime off our house rough stone walls (which needs a lot of pressure).

I'm planning on inquiring on the K5 and the K7. Wala ako mahanap sa mga ACE Hardware kasi. The K2 retails around 9,000php in hardware stores.

afaik, yung mga pressure washer like bosch aquatak and makita aquamak and the likes are direct connection to a low pressure line (water district)...hind pwede sa open bucket....may alam ako yung SIA brand 3.5k lang. open bucket ang source. diko lang alam kung gano itatagal.

I've used my Makita Aquamak pressure washer a few times already.
All i can say is that it works.
Very good for pre-rinsing a car to remove mud buildup before the car shampoo. Mahirap lang abutin yung singit ng fender wheel wells dahil mahaba yung gun.
When used to clean the garage floor, I would say that ok lang sya for spot cleaning or if hindi makapal yung build up ng dirt. Matagal kung malaki ang garahe or makapal/makapit na ang dumi/algae.
This is the entry level model so the pressure and flow rate is not as effective as the more powerful models (same brand or other brands) for floor cleaning.
I've seen the HW-102 siphon water from a bucket in youtube but I haven't tried this yet.
And also, the motor is noisy (well lahat naman ata ng pressure washer) and the motor instantly turns off as you release the trigger.

By the way, I saw Michelin brand pressure washer in Ace hardware and one of their models looks like a rebranded Makita.
It's the same except for the color and the location where the gun is kept and the detergent bottle is on the other side (mirror image).

I have Makita HW102. It's not that powerful like it can't blast paint off your car but it's good enough for me. 100bar (at initial squeeze) is pretty good already.

I have tried it siphoning water from a bucket and drum, by priming it and using a "check-valve"-like attachment at the end of the hose. There, I have confirmed that it sips very little water. Most of the material that comes off of its nozzle is air.

My only beef about it is that it can't fire foam like that of a foam cannon. I also have an air compressor so I am wondering if there is an attachment/device I can buy so I don't have to buy a foam cannon.

KARCHER at BOSCH brands ang mga ginagamit namin sa jobsite at talagang maasahan.
i own / use a KARCHER K2.00 at puwede siya sa open bucket (same as BOSCH).

the trick is to put TEFLON around the water inlet (PW) before plugging in the
GARDEN HOSE COUPLER PLUG... to eliminate air / water leaks.

when buying a pressure washer, give it a simple test. place the palm of your hand slowly near
the water inlet. you should feel a sucking force. the stronger the better.

if the inlet sucked your entire hand, then you've just tested a water pump. (joke)

Those pressure washers don't suck, even if u prime em. It needs some water pressure in the intake maybe by gravity or tapping directly to faucet. Foamer nozzle-bottle is included in the box.

Come to think of it, gravity may have been the key although the bucket and the washer are on the same level.

After that, I didn't use the bucket anymore kasi makalat. I just attached it directly to the faucet using a line splitter.

Was able to buy Bosch aquatak from Handyman *40% off trade-in promo. It runs til Sept 30 only so you may want to avail of this if you have dead power tools.

I also own the tried and tested piston type-motor driven assembly one and I should say nothing beats it when it comes to pressure. You can even interchange the gun with different types like a short barrel so you can wash the inside of the fender. It's very durable and spare parts are readily available.

    Pressure Washers

Bosch (Aquatak) - German brand. popular in UK and Europe.
Makita (Aquamak) - Japan brand. trusted manufacturer of power tools.
Karcher - German brand. specializes in cleaning equipment. popular in USA.
Nilfisk - Denmark brand. specializes in cleaning equipment. popular in Europe.
Skil - lower division of Bosch.

If main use is for washing car, it is quite fine to get an entry-level model. If you plan to do some heavy cleaning, a higher pressure model will be more suited.

95-110 bar (1350-1600 psi) - Entry level. For light cleaning, car washing, window cleaning, bicycle cleaning, etc.
110-120 bar (1600-1750 psi) - For a bit more challenging jobs like cleaning garage floor and driveways.
140 bar (2000 psi) - For more difficult jobs like removing moss and stains from patios, decking and garden walls.
160 bar (2350 psi) - Semi-pro level. For tackling the toughest jobs and fastest cleaning.

None. Those washers suck little on intake. Either put the bucket higher to siphon or prime the intake hose or directly connect to faucet using quick release coupler. My black & decker is still kickin.
