LOL, looks like a coffee stain. What methods have you tried to get the mark off? Aside from shampooing the car..

Try a paint cleaner like Mothers or Meguiars Step 1 (Pre-Wax Cleaner/Deep Crystal Cleaner). If that doesn't work, and you've already tried rubbing compound and kerosene, you might be right that it's under the clear coat - perhaps rust from the metal underneath the paint, staining the paint from below? If that's the case, then I'm afraid that body work and repainting might be the only solution.

I have a 2 week old jazz. first time ko magpacarwash then napansin ko na puro swirl marks. pumunta ako sa BB last week and they adviced me to have a paint protection at sabi nila mababawasan daw yung marks or maliliit na gasgas, ung mga gasgas na daw un is due to wrong washing technique kasi delicate daw ang black color. simula nun away ko na punasan yung jazz ko at bumalik ulit ako sa BB kahapon para magpacarwash, kasi. during carwash napansin ko na na they are using 2 mits pero sobrang dumi nung kotse di muna inispray ng tubig hangang mawala ung alikabok at ung mits na ginamit sa ilalim ng bumper at side skirt ginamit rin sa side at sa hood ko without dipping it again sa timba, i didn't reacted agad kasi i know na they know better kasi BB sila at well known sila. after the wash i noticed na dumami na ung swirl marks, maliliit na gasgas, i told na manager then they applied wax sa hood, then medyo nabawasan. when i got home tinignan ko ung likod, marami rin palang maliit na gasgas due to washing. im really disappointed with BB. honestly i don't know how to react kasi i don't want naman na magalit dun. what can i do to take away or kahit reduce lang the marks na nasa jazz ko?

sorry for the inconvenience, can you give me the details:

    1. BBPD branch
    2. plate number
    3. your name 4
    4. date you visited BBPD

so i can tell the managing partner of the particular branch, to address your concerns.

you can tell our supervisors on site if you feel that our crew has done something not to your liking so we can correct them on the spot.

Big Bert's is one of the better car wash/detailing shops in the Philippines - I sometimes bring my car there as well. However, at the end of the day, the best way to ensure that your car is properly taken cared of is to take care of it yourself. That means learning the proper wash technique and buying the necessary products in order to at least wash and wax your car correctly.

Read through the first posts in this thread to get yourself started on the proper products and technique in order to maintain your car yourself:

Tamang OC Lang - A Newbie's Guide to Car Appearance Maintenance

Then, when you find the time, try and read through the rest of that thread, as well as the stickied detailing threads in this forum. There's a wealth of information that's already been posted, and the now functional search in the migrated forum make it easier to look for specific information if you need it Also, if you have any questions, don't hesitate to post in the detailing thread or the tamang OC thread - I'm sure that those who check those threads frequently would be more than willing to give suggestions or offer advice

Now, with regards to reducing the swirls, there are two options - hide them, or polish them off. Hiding would entail the use of a filler-heavy product like a glaze or certain waxes. The disadvantage of going this route is that this is only a temporary solution - the swirls and scratches will reappear after some time. Polishing, either by hand or machine, will permanently remove or at least reduce the scratches; however, you can't polish too often, as your car only has a certain amount of clear coat.

Hi Big Bert's, how long will it take for wash & wax? and what's the difference with wash & double wax?

To share my experience with big bert's, nagpa-optiguard na ako sa kanila and I'm happy with it and the service, they will entertain your questions.
And noong nagpacarwash ako last week, meron yellow spots ang hood ko, pinakita ko sa kanila and they removed it for free. "Compound" ata ginamit nila tapos punas lang, natanggal na. Thanks!

Hi BigBerts. Pansin ko lang po na parang di po gumagamit ng 2-bucket system pag wash ng tsikot? Would you incorporate this para mas iwas sa mga swirls/gasgas? Thanks po and more power!
