In my case, went there on a Saturday before they opened, first customer. They started work at 8am and I was finished with my optiguard by 10:30am.

puede po ba mag tanong dito about BB araneta?
kasi tuwing dadaan ako araneta nakikita ko parang maliit lang space sa Big bert's. parang isang car nga lang ata kasya. tama ba ko?
gusto ko kasi mag avail ng optiguard sa araneta since its near my place.

    Hi,

I've been a regular customer of BB since early this year. Had it exterior detailed around Feb or March and siguro naka around 5-6 wax sessions thereafter. The last two were double wax sessions. Question is, it's not as shiny as the other cars. I've already asked this in another forum and sabi nila sometimes sa color ng paint. Like for instance, black cars. Color ng car ko is iced tea pearl.

Someone from BB who has a nick called Schon suggested na I can ask if pedeng gamitin ibang combo para daw mas makintab. So far, I've talked to the supervisor. 2 sessions ago daw, gold class ang ginamit. Iyung last ko, nano naman. Any other suggested combos sa mga hindi black painted cars para mas kumintab? Thanks!

Pearl colored cars tend to diffuse light so they dont appear as deep and shiny as say a black car.

Thanks for the rep blackmagic. I guess I'm at a disadvantage then.

At any rate, any other combo suggestions para lang masabi ko doon sa supervisor sa Ortigas on my next wax session. Someone suggested Mothers. Thanks!

    Theveed, Impulzz, BlackMagic,

Patanong naman, what are the do's and don'ts for a car that has undergone the Optiguard program? Ok lang bang gumamit ng Mother's na Reflections advanced car wax? White kasi ang car and I get a lot of water marks on the hood and tar on the sides.

Thanks in advance for your inputs!

    Devdevlin,
Swirls and scratches are unavoidable but can be minimized. I suggest you practice minimizing them first before having your car undergo Exterior Detailing. It would be a waste of money if swirls and scratches appear again after a detail due to improper cleaning procedures. Just remember, the less pressure you apply on your car's finish, the less chances of swirls and scratches.

    Javoy,
Mother's Reflections is good to use. For light tar marks, I would suggest using some cleaner wax. I would use it on lower panels only. Cleaner wax could remove the paint protection applied during Optiguard sessions so i recommend using it on lower panels with tar only. As for water marks on the hood, since the hood gets real hot during driving, water evaporates real fast thus it is prone to water marks. I usually open my hood after parking my car in my garage after driving through rain. This will allow water to drip down and lessen water marks.
