Just want to confirm if its safe to use the purchased from Big Bert's orange car shampoo for daily washing? Well, I know this may sound like a myth, but somebody told me that the use of car shampoo will accelerate the thinning of the vehicle's paint. Just double checking. Thanks!

Number: The owner's manual of your vehicle specifically states to use shampoo when washing.

Paint will not get washed off by mere shampoo alone.

So short answer is yes, it is.

Big Berts car shampoo user here... its a myth, it is formulated for automotive paint so even if you wash everyday it won't thin your cars paint. Even the plate numbers hasn't faded so I guess this is a good sign. Car's paint still looks great, well ofcourse you have wax / polish / clay your cars paint regularly.
