I chose the autobisyo kits because it was sold on a good price. I immediately sent the money in full. They said it will take 3-4 days before they can ship it. It took them a week, which is not that of a problem for me because i dont like a product being rushed risking a low quality.
My first problem with the establishment is that they do not reply much to my inquiries regarding the updates to the ongoing process of making my kits. Which is a problem for me because communication is important during a business transaction. As a paying customer, i deserve to be updated.
Next problem is, when i recieved the package, to my disappointment, the estimated cost of shipping is at around P.800+, as told by autobisyo, was no where near it.. Ap cargo charged me P.4,995. Of course i was shocked. Since i didnt have a choice, i paid ap cargo so that they could release the item. I contacted autobisyo regarding the problem. I understand that autobisyo is not connected to ap cargo, and that the reason for the price being that much is because it was shipped door to door, bu plane, and on a crate. (i live in Tacloban city, Leyte by the way). But P.800+ to P.4,995 price difference is too much. The owner said that he did not know that it would cost that much, and that they previously sent packages to cebu which didnt cost much. So i said, why did you ship it without telling me how much it would cost me? They said they did not know it would cost that much. I said that it is their responsibility to find out, and my right to know so that i could decide if i would prefer a cheaper way of sending it like by boat or a cheaper logistic company. The owner said they will talk about the matter whether to refund the cost of shipping or other means, and they would update me today, which still up to this day, is not yet solved.
Another problem is the deal regarding the customisation of the converted gspeed to IDEO rear. They did not do it, so the rear flare did not match the rear skirt. Our deal was that i would add money in order for it to fit, which they obviously did not do. Again, i contacted the owner and sent an MMS of the HUGE gap between the flare and skirt, and a picture of our conversation reminding him of our deal. This problem was solved immediately because the owner sent pieces of fiber plastic to "fill the gap" the next day. What i didnt like is the conversation with the secretary, the name i didnt catch. She said that the reason for the gap is that the measurement of my fiesta should have been measured in their shop, and that its all up to the painter to fix it, i explained every little detail to the secretary, still, she could not understand. I said to her the deal was made with the owner and that the owner said he would fit the kit to a fiesta there in order to see if the rear gspeed custom would fit the IDEO. She even said that the fiesta of mine has different measurement of his boss' fiesta, which honestly made me laugh. And she also said that its up to my painter to fix the problem since the other fiesta's they installed body kits there in their shop did not have any problem. Again, i repeated that it was custom made to fit. Our conversation went in circles so i contacted the owner.
I have no issues regarding the product. I am satisfied with what i paid for. Only problem is that the shipping cost, and their lack of communication with me that might have led to this situation.
I dont intend to offend or bad mouth the name of the shop.. I know it is an established business and have a lot of happy customers. I just want to be one also and that my issue be acknowledged. Like what pipefish said, power of public opinion..;)
