    Hi Everyone,

    I had my sound deadening mat removed inside my trunk since it was so heavy and trunk wont open automatically unless you use the keys. I used a hair dryer to soften the mat and gently scraped off the mat using a plastic scraper so as not to damage the paint. It was a successful attempt but the adhesive residues are still present and i don't have any idea on how to remove it.

    Is there a way to remove it DIY? or i have to bring it to a detailing shop? Please advise, your inputs are greatly appreciated. Thanks and more power!

    Subukan mo yung WD-40, or mga adhesive remover sa Concorde, True Value, at Ace Hardware.

    ah meron palang nabibiling adhesive remover..i'll give it a shot this weekend hopefully matanggal ang panget kasi sa loob ng trunk. maraming salamat sir!

    if your objective is to cover up the eyesore, how about covering the adhesive with wall paper to match your paint or your car's interior

    Maraming salamat sa mga suggestions..much appreciated!

    Tried WD-40 kanina, ok naman masakit lang sa braso magkaskas pero natatanggal naman. Paint is ok parang walang nangyari di ko pa nga lang natatapos masakit na braso ko eh.

    subukan ko mamaya yun baby oil and basahan kasi baka pag bulak bka dumikit.

    butly based ba yung sound deadening mats mo? Try using kerosene
