    pareng pissword,
yep same engine.. taka nga ako bakit ganun nakalagay sa 2k4 manual hehe.. pero yung RON rating dito sa pinas iba yun compared sa RON ng US. oversated yata yung sa pinas.

sabi dun sa 2k4 manual... "For all markets Except Africa use 95RON" kaya ayun Clatex gold gamit namin hehe

    WOW CONRATS APRIL RYAN!!!

actually hinihintay namin ang pagkakataon na ito para i congratulate ka!!! yohoo!!

    back to querries

    1. install car alarm, mahirap na, atleast may peace of mine ka ng kaunti. iwsan mo yung self locking, sakit sa ulo yun.
    2. ok ang 3M tints mahal ng kaunti pero you get what you pay for.
    3. i always use 95 ron for my 96 civic
    4. pagtiisan mo muna ang speakers mo, baka mawalang bisa ang warranty mo if you dabble with wires, gets mo.

habang wala ka pang alarm, just use common sense, park youre car sa isang busy street or corner, never leave you keys kahit saglit lang, used the club or the like to sway away would be carnappers.

also get what freebies you can get at the dealer, baka naman free ang tint, alarm, floormats, LTO reg, EWD, a full tank of gas, ANYTHING!!!

sir kimps, maganda naman ang cobra? no problem so far?

    Read your owner's manual.

Always choose your fuels by RON category:

    96 RON
    Petron Blaze

    95 RON
    Shell Velocity
    Caltex Gold

    93 RON
    Petron Unleaded
    Shell Unleaded
    Caltex Silver

I'm sure your manual recommends using 95 RON fuels. In that case, its Shell Velocity or Caltex Gold (depending on your budget and promximity to station). Its best to follow this.

But if your gas budget is tight, then go for 93 RON na lang. Cheaper cost/tank, better fuel economy (km/L), but heavier-feeling acceleration and possible engine "knocking" sound.

If engine knocking exists, then its better to stick to the recommended 95 RON.

As for 96 RON, feeling ko luho na lang yan. Sa taas naman ng mga presyo ngayon...

Don't use Petron XCS or Shell Premium Unleaded (red). They're for older cars (with lead valve seats or without catalytic converter) and therefore NOT APPROPRIATE for your RAV4.

Lastly, Shell gasolines are now formulated with a "Better Mileage" formulation. Try it. It could help stretch your tank of gas!

i think 89 ron lang ang sa manual po.. sorry wala kasi dito yun manual, but ang alam ko even escape and crv super unleaded lang pwede na.. sobra na nga yung 93 ron
