    How submerged was your vehicle?

If only up to the carpets, you can just remove the seats and carpets to dry off the interior.

Sometimes I use a hair dryer or heat gun to dry hard to reach areas.

As for the muffler, just drive for a day or two, tanggal ang tubig niyan.

i suggest that you wash your carpet and not just dry it. madaming germs na nagtatago na dyan dahil sa flood water. leptospirosis?

kung lubog I would suggest that you remove your plugs and crank your engine. This is to remove water and prevent damage to the engine.

binondo...how long does the carpet dry usually under the sun? my problem is that the weather is unpredictable,it rains w/o warning...if this happened during the summer time then i think alang problem..last time i experienced wet carpet was some months ago naiwan ata ng mekaniko na nakabukas yun bintana ko...so there you go...dunno how my carpet got dry but it tiook lots of time for it to totally dry out and more time for the smell to go away.

for absorbing moisture, you can use those cabinet moisture absorbers. These are the type that looks like a semi-transparent food container with a paper-like upper part. Years ago when flood waters entered my car, I used that to keep the smell down and eventually dry out the moist interior carpet.

pinakamaganda pa rin ang tanggalin yung carpet at patuyuin sa labas kesa pabayaan na matuyo don sa kotse.... reason? isipin mo na lang na nabababad sa basa yung mga metal nung kotse mo for a period of time na pwedeng pag-umpisahan ng rust, lalo na kung medyo luma na yung tsikot mo... isa pa at least makikita mo yung condition nung flooring nung car mo kung me nag-uumpisa ng magkaron ng kalawang...makikita mo yung mga bagay na matagal ng nawawala sa yo like ballpens, coins, etc... another is at least na-general cleaning mo yung interior nung kotse mo at di ka magtitiis na mabantot yung loob nung kotse mo for a few days.... yun nga lang kung yan ang daily drive mo at wala kang extra car....magko-commute ka muna pansamantala....hehehehe
