L300 versa van.. diba nasa 700t+ lang?
-as i said 50% cheaper. price of brand new PHUv quoted at 350,000 basic.

i saw a 4d56 engine nakadisplay sa mitsubishi quezon ave. with a price tag of 350t pesos po... and.. mukhang hindi pa kumpleto yun.. its just the engine itself.. wala pa yung.. engine supports.. airfilter case.. exhaust.. alternator.. compressor.. wiper.. wiper motor.. washer motors radiator. evaporator..fans... fanbelts.. idlers pulleys.. glowplugs.. oil filters... fuel filters.. brake systems.. condenser.. and the list goes on po... and katakot takot na labor pa.. i know may discount pa yung mga parts.. like less 10% which is standard.. less 20 wholesale and less30 sa dealer.. but.. i dont think thats enough po..
Something must be done to break the chain of exploitation.

i think lang po.. na this vehicle is going to be utility.. which means.. dapat ay napaka mura nito.. like siguro less than 300t pesos.. coz.. darating na mga china utility vehicles priced around 400t pesos.. ive seen some units na.. looks nice.. mga chopchop looks.. harap starex.. gilid spacegear fender hilux..
downside is its got a chinamade engine.. na hindi natin alam kung tatagal..
but ang claim nila is.. that their light truck's engine parts are interchangeable with isuzus..
-with all due respect, you want a utility vehicle that is new and multipurpose-you have to pay more that 300,000. I mean baka you are referring to 2nd hand vehicles siguro at hindi brand new.

i also like custom vehicles.. but.. due to cost... especially in research and development baka magshort po tayo. iba po talaga ang mass manufacturing.. nabababa talaga nito ang prices ng malaki.. specially pag may assembly line
-Bakit ang rag-tag native assemblers buhay pa rin ngayon, especially yung taga-Mindanao, Central Visayas, Calabarzon at Pampanga, kasi they were able to manufacture via piecemeal production process. Nasa business plan yan. Sabi nga nung writer na sikat (Schumacher), make you firm small and efficient kasi "Small is Beautiful". May short run and long run production naman e.

i like your idea.. the dream na makagawa ng sasakyan na magrerevolutionize sa pilipinas.. but.. parang hindi po yata cost effective and plans
Indeed, Pinoys should support this dream for SELF-RESPECT AND PRACTICALITY. Una, we have vehicle to call our own, no matter how simple and low tech it is. Di ba sa US, may nagsabi we are nothing but pretenders to be Asians, feeling natin Hapon tayo di naman. We need self respect. And we can start with the PHUV. 2nd, more jobs for pinoys, plus point to our talents, plus point to our economy.

Kasi, our vehicle market is small, pathetic and insignificant. 100,000 vehicles a year? harhar, 60% pa dyan taxi, fleet at commercial use. So ano ang tawag dyan. E di consumer exploitation and manipulation.

Of course. I will not spend 350,000 pesos for a subcompact car na mitsa pa ng buhay ko. Plus all imported. paano piyesa nyan? paano ang maintenance? Kahit i-taxi ko yan.Lugi pa rin. In three years, ala pa sa kalahati ang presyo pag binenta (my friend was compelled to sell his 2006 picanto last month for less than half of its original price because he was sideswiped many times by big vehicles) Yung commercial van mapapamura ka sa mahal. Kaya ba yan bayaran ng ordinaryong pinoy?magkano urban 1million. Grabe kailan mababawi ng operator yun?Tapos, engots pa driver nya, nabangga, nasira. hay...

Dahil ang PHUV ginawa to replace or alternative sa PUJ, AUV at iba pang commercial at utility vehicles. Pangnegosyo.

Emina? Lumina? Trooper? Hi-ace?Pajero?Starex?Pampasada o delivery?sus.

yun iba (jeep, local auv, anfra) ok na ak. very Pinoy. locally made. more jobs for Pinoys. built to last.

Go PHUV! Go TsikoT PHUV! Go PInoy Vehicle!
