Sad to say but we really don’t have much design option with this project.
My opinions; The following are out of design considerations: 1. Monocoque body structure. 2. Curved windshield – I’m not sure if someone could fabricate. 3. Van type.
The following may the only design options that we could consider to incorporate to the proposed project (existing or possible to fabricate)
2nd hand Chassis
Boxy type body
Front grills
Bumper
Engine, Lightings, etc. (existing - commercially available)
With this limited options, for sure only one thing will come up, it’s either;
1. A jeep and its kind ie, land rover defender, G-wagen, Samurai etc. style/concept with a different face. (Maybe we could not even match old vitara body shape profiles.)
2. Revo, adventure, crosswind type but boxy shaped = Tamaraw fx.
If we come up with the above pattern then it’s not really that motivating and it will only be labeled the same as backyard auv assembly.
The trick is how can we design a prototype that at least 80% original?, never been seen before not copied and not existing concepts yet that would be appealing to pinoy/asian taste or maybe internationally. This is really a challenge for the tsikot designers.
Ot. By the way years ago there’s a company that sell wrangler body w/ chassis the body was claimed to be a machine pressed so it looks like original, very sturdy too. I don’t know if this company still exist.
