So... how much does it cost to make? I've been interested in the MegaSquirt for a long time, but haven't taken the plunge yet.

One issue with the MegaSquirt is ensuring compatibility with the rest of the car's electronics... automatic transmissions... some instrument gauges... airbag control modules... body control modules... there are some things that Mega Squirt will not take care of, or which will take a lot of programming time to make functional.

A full standalone system like MegaSquirt can be made to work with a car... but to get it running as smoothly as "OEM" takes days... weeks... or even months of programming.

Still interested, though... we've almost reached the limits of what a piggyback can do for the Lynx, power-wise... and I'm wondering if I can make this work there to control both my gasoline and LPG systems... and maybe even E85, at the same time.
