I recently had to replace the radiator cap on the MB100 (the cap was 10 years old already). The rubber gaskets had swollen and had torn themselves off from the cap itself.
The only cap they had at the auto supply were Circuit brand radiator caps. The ones that claim to use silicone (instead of rubber gaskets). So I buy one for Php150.00.
Are there any other Tsikoteers who use this brand of cap? How well does it hold up?
Follow up question. The OEM cap of the MB100 is rated at 1.4, the Circuit cap is rated at 0.9 (I forgot the unit of measurement). How will the lower rating affect the cooling system?
Thanks!

When does that happen? 1. During starting? 2. While the vehicle is idling/running?
