update lang sir. i have a recurring case pero medyo na solve na. nawawala lamig after 2-3 months of cleaning.. in a span of 2 years. i tried different shops, same pa rin. All shops claimed to have found no leaks. actually, malamig sya pero blower gets very weak due to accumulated dirt. Now, i found this good shop , so far its been 6 months ok pa rin. i really dont know why the evap gets dirty easily.

1. if you keep the a/c vent open instead of recirculate that will clog it up fast. or maybe the vent flap door is leaking air in from the outside.
2. do you drive with the windows open?
3. do you have your car vacuumed regularly? regular vacuuming will help keep dirt in the evaporator to a minimum.
4. what clothes do you wear? how about seat covers? if the fabrics used produces a lot of lint then that will also contribute to dirt in the evaporator.
5. i don't want to say this but it is true, household dust is mostly human skin. naghihilod ka ba? araw-araw?

hehe thanks sir yebo, i dont know whats "naghihilod" (im bisaya), but personal hygiene wise im ok. daily bath, wash etc.. eheh
clothes are ok, mostly pang office (poloshirt/long sleeves), except when i go to some construction site, gets a little dirty.
Seat Cover is stock for Honda Civic Sir 99 (dont know if its a factor), but the fabric is not of the leather type.
Ive minimized driving open windows, smoking in the car, as well as using car-fresheners (they say it sticks to the evap)
i vacuum the car, but not as much versus showroom shiny level cars. At all times, AC is set to re-circulate. im not sure if there is already a mechanical defect / leak for my 12 year old civic EK. But so far so good, 6 months na, AC is still good. Never had a similar problem with our other cars though.
