Bagong tech ba iyong inverter a/c na electric for cars?

I've been watching a Volkswagen beetle restoration job by a popular YouTube mechanic and he decided to use an electrical a/c for his pet project.

Granted he's cunningly promoting his own a/c car Aircon shop, but I guess he has made some valid points about his product.

It may be variable speed I think. It's slowly being used on cars that either don't have an ICE, or if it's a hybrid, the ICE turns off when the battery is full. It comes in various configurations... electric A/C, electric oil pump, electric coolant pump, etc.... all to solve issues with an ICE that operates intermittently or only on-demand to conserve fuel.

Electric-driven hydraulic power steering too. Great for retrofitting into classic cars, preserves the desirable feel of hydraulically assisted steering.

Nope Prius had variable speed/inverter Acs since its 2nd generation(~2004).

I believe the new hotness in Car ACs are reversible heatpumps that can operate in very cold weather(and plumbed to cool/heat the battery in EVs)
