gaano ka kasigurado na ung pag-gamit ng wiper ang dahilan sa paghina ng radiator fan mo?

    1) Pa overhaul mo radiator mo if you want
    2) Drain the water and renew with water and coolant mix
    3) Check for leaks in the hoses sa cooling system mo and replace as necessary
    4) Pa check mo na rin battery and alternator mo since binanggit mo rin naman na may problem

Kapag umuulan ng malakas dapat lumalamig pa... very apparent ito at madaling mapansin sa mga nagtanggal ng thermostat as in baba agad kasi free flowing yung coolant etc...

    Good Luck

    1. What do you mean by overheat? Did the temp gauge needle go to the red? Or do you see smoke coming from the hood of the car? If your gauge went into the red, then that is overheat. If you see smoke from the hood when its raining, thats normal. Thats just water evaporating or condensing (I forgot whats the right term) when it hits the hot metal of the hood.
    2. If your car has a temp problem, it will overheat during hot and rainy weather. Rain actually helps cool the engine.
    3. If your battery is old, replace it. While in the battery shop, have them check your alternator. When your engine is running, its the alternator that charges your battery and supplies current to your electrical system. Wipers will not draw enough amps to stress your alternator unless there is something wrong with it or you have so much other electrical loads running that you overload your alternator.

is a car prone to overheat during heavy rains? only when the heavy rains bring about heavy traffic.
i suspect it's your auxiliary fan. either mahina na o hindi na umi-ikot. that should be easy to check...
