mga sir kailangan ko lng po ng input from experience sa mga naka-HONDA ESI. nabanga ako recently and na-damage radiator plus yung condenser ko. ok po ba na bumili ko ng japan surplus and have it overhauled or brand new na lng? i'm planning kasi bumli ng nose cut kaya lng worried ako na baka di ko naman mapakinabangan yung radiator and condenser.

i am not a fan of surplus, unless it cannot be avoided dahil wala ng stock ng parts.
pag surplus, its either, limited warranty or no warranty at all.
kaya mga ilang buwan lang, pwedeng masira, and gagastos ka ulit.

Go with brand new. Condensers are subjected to a lot of stresses given the pressure they are subjected to.

Surplus condensers aren't warranted against metal fatigue. And refrigeration systems typically work best without uncontaminated.

Similar logic follows with radiators, especially those with plastic tanks, the seals on those degrade over time.

Number of rows do not necessarily dictate performance. There are some poorly designed 2 row radiators that were built just to sell but make little or no difference in actual performance.

If and when possible go for brand new and from a shop/manufacturer that offers at least a 1 year warranty.

Cost of breakdown, damage, towing, repairs and inconvenience relative to cost of new unit for these products is too high nowadays to consider the risk of employing surplus units.

Excellar in Banawe cor. N. Roxas stock a wide variety of condensers and other aircon parts of reputable quality.

My personal rule of thumb in choosing a shop/vendor is the general appetite of the owners against rework. Those people tend to veer towards quality.
