Kami. Sa Mirage last year, 3.5k. Sa Xpander this year, 4.5k.

    question...

    Honda City GM6

sabi ng dealership - no need to have my AC cleaned since they are replacing the cabin filter every 6 months

3rd party kanto kanto A/C shop - no need to have my A/C cleaned kasi may cabin filter daw

pero when I asked sub-zero - they said na iba pa din linis nila

    what do you guys think?

Maganda siguro every 5 years.

Mirage 3.5k - second-hand kasi, kaya pina linis
Xpander 5k for dual AC - concern ko iyong 2nd row, walang filter.

May before and after camera video sila ng evaporator.

    my 1.12 pesos' worth,
"do not service the aircon if there's no problem with it."

a couple of years ago, i finally consented to have my 2005 innova's aircon cleaned for the first time, even as there was nothing wrong with it, and i regularly serviced the aircon filter.
upon opening up, i found out that the evaporator's fins were still squeaky-clean. "there was nothing to clean."

our 2003 altis naman, was showing poor cooling.
upon opening, we found out that over two-thirds of the evaporator's fins, were clogged by dirt.
this particular car had no aircon filter.

an AC shop will always insist na kailangan i cleaning, then palit yung evap valve yata yun, then top up ng refrigerant. or worst, sasabihin may leak yung linya kaya nauubos ang refrigerant...

After daw mag pa cleaning, after a few days nawala yung lamig. So ofcourse bumalik sila to complain. Bastos daw kausap yung may ari. Sasabihin na hindi daw nila kasalanan. Sira na daw in the first place & wag daw sisihin sa kanila. Kahit umabot pa daw sila ng korte, panalo daw sila.

Nataon siguro.

there's two ways i see it,
first, is there some thing unique with the mazdas, making them prone to leaking after servicing...? and
sa tagal na niya sa business, bat hindi alam nang aircon shop, na ganun nga? gawan sana niya nang paraan, instead of simply criticizing the car.

    from personal experience,
shop owners who say, "wala silang kasalanan" don't know enough of the technical and non-technical aspects of their business.
instead of hand-washing, they should offer possible solutions.

"this is what we did, sir... when we fixed it and returned the freon pressure to normal, you probably sprung a leak at some other part of your aircon, as a result of the increase to normal pressure. it's something we see from time to time that's really no one's fault. we can trouble-shoot it and offer solution, but as it was not in our original work coverage, we may have to charge more. i hope you understand, sir.". or something to that effect.

    then again,
there's always the costumer from hell...
