    ano pong klaseng sealant ung ginagamit? would clear silicone do?

    depende kun saan nagle-leak. presurize ang A/c line so di kaya ng clear silicon. you'll need to tighten the joints kun sa joint - using teflon tape sa thread would help in making a good seal on the joints.

    Pero kung me butas ang line, you need to replace that.

    These are specialized works, an A/C shop should do that, kasi when you remove those joints the freon could escape, so you need to top-it up.

    Kung evaporator ang may butas, baka kailangang ng hinang. Pero, usually, the shop recommends replacement if the problem is an evaporator leak.

    hindi pwede ang sealants lang sa mga components ng aircon, pressurized ang mga linya nito. its either hinang or replace.

    yup, 230+ psi yan sa high side (compressor, compressor discharge line, condenser, liquid line to expansion valve) at nasa 40-70 psi sa low side (evaporator, compressor suction line). di yan kaya ng sealant or even devcon epoxy. besides lakas ng vibration kaya matatanggal din agad.

    may mga aircon shops na pwede mo i-trade in ang luma na evaporator or condenser kung maganda pa naman (at syempre repaired unit ang ipalit nila sa iyo). at nag-repair din sila kung kaya pa. kung di na pwede i-repair bili ka bago o kaya yung mga repaired units nila.

    Good day to everyone, my AC has a slow leak from the compressor, I recharge the freon every six months, any idea how much is a new and a used compressor? My car is a '99 Sentra FE. Thanks.

    sir, baka shaft seal replacement lang ang kailangan niyan. mga car aircon shops gumagawa niyan.
