dunno how they're gonna test it though...kung talagang intention mong manloko e pwede mo iload ng R134 , let them inspect it, flush it out, tapos karga mo uli ng R12...right?

My friend advised me that there is an announcement in LTO offices that starting 2005, all vehicles to be registered should use R134 freon for their car airconditioners. Does this mean cars that use R12 freon need to replace their compressors, evaporators, filter driers, etc to accommodate the R134 freon?

How much will it cost for the replacements? Thanks

Just wondering... Would they have the skilled personnel to "look" at a compressor and determine kung 134 sya or 12... 2nd, what if your car (old) can not be installed with an 134 variant (walang compressor na kakasya) or di kaya ng engine. 3rd a lot of people wont have to go to LTO for registration anyway (like Wheelers/AAP members), what's the point?
