Here's the story, I was cruising along EDSA near proj7 with my mitsu L300 when suddenly i saw my battery warning lights going "gaga". park sandali sa tabi and then i saw water tumatagas ng malakas from the radiator. lakas ng pressure. so sabi ko may leak na yung radiator.
i was fortunate enough to be near a gas station, i had my engine cooled first tapos nilipat ko na yung van hear at my gf's place.
tom papatingnan ko na and have it fixed. pero in the long run, should i have it fixed lang or replace na? parang 3rd time na ata nangyari to...
anybody knows magkano damage ng bnew na radiator and secondhand?
ipa overhaul mo muna.dapat tanggal taas at baba tapos lilinisin bawat butas then spray ng tubig na me pressure para tanggal ang mga dumi sa loob.kung me extra money ka eh bili ka ng brand new. kung bibili ka ng bago eh yung mas malaki kesa dati pero hindi dapat magkakaproblema sa kabitan nya. mas malaki kasi mas madami rows kaya mas maganda performance. ganun kasi ginawa nung friend ko na me L300. tapos nilagyan pa nya ng waterspray para pag nataas yung temp.eh on nya yung spary then nababa na mas ok din ngayun yung aircon nya. better kung magtanung ka sa mga me L300 kasi me ginagawa sila dyan para hindi mag overheat.
sir baka yung seal lang ang may problema (yung parang soldering iron pag tinunaw) maganda pa overhaul mo muna tapos pag bumalik ulit ang problema buy brandnew or kuha ng surplus

As anyone who has had a radiator blow up on them would attest, umiilaw ang dash lights kasi the hot water being sprayed all over your engine is shorting out all the sensors, senders, and everything else the water gets in contact with. It'll dry out soon though and things will be back to normal. hopefully.
