Cyclo Cooling System 'Stop Leak & Sealer'

hi guys, have you tried using cyclo cooling system 'stop leak & sealer'? saw this product in concorde megamall, costs P179.75. my car has a leak on the radiator plastic top and hoping this could solve temporarily without any adverse effects.

i just bought this one a while ago. drained my power steering reservoir using a used aquarium hose and a syringe. Dunno proper way of draining and might be messy and takes lot of work and time. nawala na yun ugong on mg 94 gli bigbody corolla, change also may power steering hose na din before pero after 2 mos may konting sirit na fluid then yun ugong kapag nakatodo liko. will post results after

Gamit ko Water Stop. 50 petot lang sa suking tindahan. May maliit na crack na kasi sa plastic top ng rad ko. After 2 months ok pa naman sya. Di pa naman ako nababawasan ng tubig. Effective and cheap

Used a similar product from Prestone, although mas mahal (P279 ata price). IMHO, ineffective siya, kasi medyo malaki yata butas ng radiator ko. All it succeeded in doing was clogging the hose to the reservoir tank. Sayang lang pera ko. Pang maliliit na butas lang sya pwede siguro.

May bagong produkto ang Cord Chemicals, Gladiator Sealant, pang-radiator talaga. Saw one at Ace hardware SM Cubao, but didn't check the price.

ung gladiator na yon mga around 300, 2 sets ng a&b, mayroon sa hardware namin, tinago ko yung isa (for emergency) mahal lang, kaya yung stock sa hardware di padin napapalitan... kung may butas na, pagawa mo nalang, kasi mga yun temporary solution para kung on the road ka nasiraan, madadala mo pa sa shop/uwi ang sasakyan....

hindi recommended mga sealer for long term, ok lang yan for temporary fix like if la ka time to have the repairs done.

gladiator is good pero use it as a patch lang... not the solution to the problem.

tama--sealers are not pansaman-tagal...immediate remedy lang at pang pinholes lang mga yun...

guys pwede din ba yan sa leak ng gas tank? or do you have other suggestions?

sa connection kasi ng upper and lower part ng gas tank ng auto ko, meron bulok na nagiging tagas ng gas. nalaman ko lang nun nag-full tank ako. ayun, nun bumaba na gas level, lower than the leak part, tsaka nawala ang tulo. parang nagtapon lang ako ng pera sa wasted gas. please help. thanks

^^^ Bro, hindi pwede yung Cyclo sa gas tank. It's exclusively meant for the radiator.

Mahirap mag-weld ng gas tank, naiipon kasi ang fumes at may posibilidad na sumabog. May alam akong talyer before, ang ginawa nila, pinasingaw nila yung fumes for 1 week, tapos nilinisan ng Axion and water, then pinatuyo for another week. Tsaka nila winelding. Downside is 2 weeks mong hindi magagamit ang kotse.

Dito sa may Commonwealth Ave. Don't know if it exists though, kasi mga 2 years ago na yun. May katabi kasing nagbebenta ng pre-cast concrete yung talyer na yun, at habang hinihintay ko yung binili naming pre-cast, chinika ko yung welder.

Pero baka hindi naman aabot ng 2 weeks yung sayo. Sabi nya kasi, naninigurado lang sila.

ok yung stop leak for radiator, para lang makauwi ka or maka abot ka ng talyer, pero suggestion ng mekaniko ko, pag katapos ayusin yung radiator hugas mabuti cooling system kasi masisira daw yung water pump. parang dahil sa stop leak yung oil seal ng water pump na dududrog.

pero yung power steering stop leak ng cyclo, ok talga. yung steering pump ng benz ko nag katulo, eh ang mahal ng repair kit at labor, pinasubukan ng friend ko yung cyclo, ayun tangal ang tulo. been a year na and sold the car na wala pa din tulo
