whistling sound when aircon is on and hi rev

san kaya prob pag may whistling sound pag naka on yung aircon and mataas rev? kse dati wala naman.. nung pinahigpitan ko yung belt ng compressor ( lumalangitngit kse dati).. tsaka lang sya lumabas... dati langitngit ngayon sipol na yung tunong... hay.. pleas help

napapalitan ba yung bearing lang o buong compressor? yung pulley ba may bearing din? kano un kung pallitan?

napapalitan yung bearing nang compressor. sa akin napalitan -P2,100 lang saka overhaul na din nang aircon sama linis.

probably a grounded electrical humming to the speakers or the belt is too tight or too loose.

when u hear the sound, try turning the aircon off (w windows down, so u can hear it),

pag nawala, malamang sa bearing yyun.

sa compressor nga yan. ganyan din sa kin. nilangisan lang. tatagal pa naman daw kahit 2 taon. pero maingay lang nga.

there are two bearings that might be creating that "sipol" one is the compressor bearing like everyone said and the other one is the idler bearing. sa mga kotse lahat meron nito di ko lang sure sa SUV's , AUV's and trucks

i had it estimated at an airshop near our place... sabi nung tumingin sa compressor daw.. possible bearing.. sa 3 shops ko pinatignan ganun diagnosis nila.. baka sa sat pa gawa ko na... la pa kse time eh... thanks mga peeps... sana mura lang gastos..

Mura lang pag bearing, basta wag lang tatamaan yung shaft ng compressor.

hi po... im also having the same experience, may whistling, at hindi lang basta whistling, super lakas na whistling.. a mechanic also told me na compressor yun.. he already overhauled it, changed the pulley bearing..ganun pa rin..so compressor nga raw talaga.. ano suggestions on what i should do? palitan ko nga ba ng compressor un? may alam po ba kayo malapit na aircon mechanic sa angono, rizal? east of metro manila.. tnx!!!!!!

ako naman po meron din whistling sound...
pero kahit wala akong aircon may tunog sya...
hihina lang yung tunog pag bibitawan ko unti unti gas...
sometimes naman walng tunog.
hindi ko alam kung bakit.
minumulto lang ba ako? napiplip?
or kapareho lang nila sa compressor ang problem?

I experience whistling sound in the Aircon. but the cause was just a leaf stuck on the aircon radiator. the sound actualy sounds good because it sounded like a plane's turbine, and was louder than our turbo.

yup, compressor nga yan. have heard the same humming/whistling sound when i turn on my a/c, then nawawala pag off-on ko uli. now, nawawala na ang lamig. have to bring my car to denso for check up. malamang replace compressor ako.

i have the same problem...my 93 gli corolla e whistling sound pero random ang paglabas nya.
Pagtumatakbo ang oto minsan tutunog pag pinatay ko aircon nawawala, tapos pag on ko ulit aircon wala na..minsan naman pag tumunog e ire-rev ko lang nawawala din ..ang masama e ito...pag pinapatay ko makina me parang pahabol pa na sipol...
ang tunog e sa bandang gitna ng makina... ito pala ang case ko...medyo 2 months na butas ang air filter hose ko pero tinape ko lang..sabi ng mekaniko e nadumihan daw yung intake na kinakabitan ng air filter hose...tapos isprayan ko lang daw ng "grease away" e kaso wala ako makita sa Ace hardware at sa handyman...san kaya ako makakabili nun at ano ang alternative kung walang available na "grease away"?
madumi kaya ang fuel injector ko? ano kaya ang magandang panlinis para sa EFI?
HELP po....naiinis na ko sa sipol na tunog na to...di po sya galing sa compressor ng aircon or sa ano mang belt or fan...

try checking yung adjuster pulley may bearing un, kng sira na tlga ung bearing nun sa pulley cracking sound na ang maririnig mo ndi na whistling sound bka masira din ung leeg ng compressor mo.

Thanks for the reply...nakuha ko na yung whistling sound...indeed its not the aircon...yun pala yung valve na ina-adjustan ng air...inikot ikot ko lang at ayun, worked like a charm and no sound at all....

Hi! I have the same problem.. where can I see that valve for the air??? maybe i can try to adjust it. Napalitan ko na kasi mga belts and checked the compressor and aircon but still the whistling sound is still there. Maybe we have the common problem.. My car is 2003 ford lynx ghia... thanks in advance!
