Radiator leaking hose?

Bakit nag leleak ang ilalim ng hose which naka clamp naman? this hose yung sa radiator going to the engine.bakit lumalabas ang tubig sa ilalim hose kung saan naka clamp naman?? Any reply highly appreciated

hmmm sakit ng crosswind / highlander 4ja-1 yan. ganyan nangyari sa kin noon try mo higpitan yung clamp then pag may leak pa rin sa tube na may crack yan. pahinang mo sa radiator shop.

Actually,Civic 2000 M/T ang kotse ko.. ano kaya palitan ko ang hose o hindi? pero ang radiator ko kasi pang automatic sha but matagal ng nakakabit to ngayon ko lang napansin na may lumalabas na tubig mismong ilalim ng hose..

Because water has a natural tendency to "crawl" its way around objects, first make sure that the leak is indeed coming from the hose connection. If that's the case, make sure the clamp has NOT been tightened too much that it caused the hose to rupture. Third, if the leak is coming from the joint, you can try applying hi-temp sealant where the rubber hose meets the radiator tube. You will need to drain the radiator and remove the hose to do this.

as long as pinpointed ang source of leak then you can choose between a a high temp sealant and old school hinang.

bonus na yan sir. at least nakikita mo kung saan nangagaling yun leak, its just a matter of verifying kung sa hose talaga.

itong sa akin 2 weeks ko in obserbahan bago ko nakita yung leak, nandun pala sa bypass hose. ako na lang ang nagpalit. ayos na. monitor na lang kung magbabawas pa ng tubig.

sometimes, where the hose is attached is coroded itself. kaya kahit ano palit mo ng hose or clamp may leak parin. have it checked well.
