    hello po..magkano kaya aabutin kapag pinalitan yung radiator fan? Yung sa case ko kasi intermitent yung pagtaas ng temp yesterday from ghills to paranaque lumampas ng konti sa gitna yung temp needle.. I tested it this a.m sa grahe lang hinayaan ko umabot sa half yung guage pero di umandar yung radiator fan the aircon fan is working though pag bukas ko ng ac andar na cya.

    I think something wrong in your fan relay/ fuse...


    same din yan sakin..

    First, check that the fan is plugged. Minsan the plug gets loose pag napabayaan. Also check that the wire is intact, yung iba maluwag kaya nasisira.

    Second, check that the fan can spin freely. If not then the bearing/brushes may have worn out na. Also check for anything blocking it from spinning.

    Third, check the fuse/relays.

    Fourth, check that the thermostat is the proper one for your car. Some cars have the fan tapping on a sensor that tells it at what temperature to turn on, kaya pag umabot dun yung temp, saka lang siya bubukas. Hence when the gauge goes above 1/2 for most Japanese cars (Toyota and Honda come to mind) saka lang siya iikot.

    One can apply electricity to the fan plug and see if it turns. This of course also depends on whether your car has a temp sensor.
