I just recently had my aircon fixed, eto po breakdown ng gastos ko:

    Surplus Compressor (Mit-Air) - 6,500
    Expansion Valve - 1,200
    Drier - 750
    Discharge Hose - 350
    Flushing - 300
    Freon & Oil - 750
    Labor - 650

    Total - 10,500

95 Lancer GLXI yung auto ko. In fairness, malamig ma malamig na ulit yung A/C ko, kahit tanghali and naka low cool lang ako and halfway lang palagi yung thermostat ko.

I just need your opinion para alam ko kung babalik ako dun ulit kapag nagpa-ayos ako ulit ng aircon o hindi na.

    Thanks in advance!

The compressor seems fairly priced. But at the a/c shop I go to, they just charge around Php600+ (single air) for labor and materials. Pakyaw na iyon, walang breakdown. So bale wala nang charge for flushing, oil, freon, etc.

Medyo mahal din yung expansion valve and drier unless they're original parts.

    Bakit pinalitan yung discharge hose?

Miit-Air din kasi yung dati kong compressor, bale 12 years old na.

I was supposed to go to the famous Mang Mario, I read the thread about his work, and I am really impressed with the positive comments from his tsikoteer customers, however, nagkataon na bumigay na yung aircon nung Monday, nung kalakasan ng ulan. From my office in Ortigas hanggang sa bahay namin nag-drive ako ng puro moisture ang windshield ko. Zero visibility from the inside talaga. Punas punas lang ako sa windshield para may makita, Badtrip, kaya napilitan ako magpagawa agad the following day. It's a good thing na coding ako and 3 blocks away from our house yung Aircon Shop.

Talaga lang may mga mas mura if you shop around. So he can really drive prices down.

Yun nga advantage ng pag papagawa kay Mang Mario; he can can really lower down his price since sarili nya pala yung pwesto.

Thanks sa lahat ng nag comment! May the force be with you!

Maaaring na-denggoy ka. Kasi papalit-palit ka ng compressors from time to time, and you'll spend 10-15k every time.

    magnetic clutch - 3.5k
    bearing - 800
    reface - 600
    shim brass - 20
    aux fan - 1.5k

    total - 6,410 petot

    compressor - 16k

    less:
    magnetic clutch - 3.5k
    bearing - 800

    tip sa 2 mekaniko - 400

overall gastos ko sa aircon repair - 14,220 petot

hi-precision marilao ang shop. note, brand new yung compressor.

eto pa, yung main aux fan ko, palitan na daw at ang quote nila dun, a whopping 6.5l petot for the motor only!!!

had my crv gen 1 aircon fixed today.initially, maingay na kc yung bearing ng compressor and medyo maluwag yung fan belt. so last week pina adjust
lakas ng dati . after few day, nawala na lamig.

nabend ba rin yung shaft. actually, the shaft is part of the front cover ng compressor so palit buong assembly. i believe this was cause be the tensioning of the fan belts.

    over all:

palit ng fly wheel, palit ng shaft assembly, pinapinapalitan ko na rin yung 3 bearings(since loose na yung isa(main root cause of the problem), palit dryer, and general cleaning ng condenser and fan blowers, recharge ng freon.

    total cost including labor: 7k
