i'm a new used car owner...suddenly my car esi civic 95 model is overheating everytime i speep up the accelerator, but when it's slow, it's in the normal level...
i realized that i made a big mistake by pouring in pure water to the radiator cap( yes pag binuksan yung rad cap, nagbubulwak at may kumukulong tubig na nag lumalabas with very high pressure) then binubuhusan ko ng water..
    what can i do?
    what are the possible problems?
what are the possible options that i can do?

do you know of anything where to download a service manual for honda civic esi 95 model?

    thanks

sana pinalamig mo muna ang engine bago mo binuhusan ng malamig na tubig.
baka may nag-crack na sa engine/radiator mo, mabuti hindi ka nabanlian ng mainit na tubig? ingat sa pagbukas ng radiator when its hot.

ipa-check up mo ang aux fans and water pump if they are working properly.
check for leaks na rin sa mga hose at radiator cap.
    goodluck.

or sana di mo pinatay yung makina habang naglalagay ka ng water sa radiator...

pag umaandar ang makina, di bubulwak ang tubig.

as for my diagnosis, binkong ang cylinder heads mo have it checked.

hindi kase dapat tumataas ang temp pag umaandar ka na eh, kung normal na radiator related overheating lang yan.

i just used pure water from gas stations..
how much will i spend if i have to fix(typicla value)
    1. cylinder gasket
    2. radiator overhaul
    3. typical labor
    4. leaks(in relation to this, i saw some oil leaks dripping from my hood but not much..does it has something to do with this?is my engine problematic?my uncle says my enginer is in tip top condition but why the drip?it is dripped somewhere from the left part of the hood..not much though...just bits of driplets..

    thanks again!

oil leaks probably from some hose that wasnt able to withstand the temp of the engine during overheat, better find it before it gets worse.

Not sure about the cost of fixing a busted head since, awa ng Diyos, hindi pa nangyari sakin to. As for the overhaul, mga 1k daw ata. Instead of this, bili ka na lang bnew Evercool for around 3k.

Dami pwede maging source ng leaks e. There's the P/S fluid, clutch & brake fluid, coolant, engine oil. When you said left side ng hood, are you facing the front of the car? If so, pwede coolant yan since may overheating problem ka. In any case, since for sure papatingin mo yan, pa-diagnose mo na lahat para isang pagawaan na lang. Your engine might be ok, pero it could still have leaks kung may sira na mga seals, bearings, etc.

try to check your oil levels too. yan ang nangyari sa akin. mabilis tumaas nag overheat pa ako. yun pala kulang na sa lubrication engine ko kaya umiinit agad malamang sa friction galing

you might have a hard time finding a service manual for the esi. problem is, the esi released in the philippines didn't have the same engine found in the esi's in the US or in japan. we got the 1.6 non vtec while the others got vtec equipped engines. so not all engine infor will be applicable.

mazerom; medyo nasubaybayan ko yung mga thread mo lalo na nung hanap ka car. di ka ba nagsama ng mekaniko nung kuha mo kotse? pag umandar yung kotse better pa compression test mo na rin.

yeah agree. it's easy to point you in one direction or another but unless makita yung exact symptoms it might be useless

overheating radiator: bubmubulwak!
