overheating problem..don't know the cause

Sira na ba kaagad yung cylinder head gastket if may parang white na bula (maliliit) or suds pag binuksan yung radiator cap. Nawawala naman minsan.

Palit na ba agad ng gasket and resurface ng head or papa bleed ko lang?

Pero wala namang halo ng oil yung reservoir and radiator ko. Pure water pa din (wala akong coolant). AFAIK, pag may oil na yung radiator or reservoir ko, dun lang sira yung gasket. Tama ba?

Tumataas temp ako minsan pero bumababa siya after a while. Walang tulo or bawas sa radiator or reservoir. Feeling ko yung thermoswtich ang problem hindi blown gasket. Tama ba?

Ayos pa yung thermostat eh...bumubukas pa sa boiling water. Yng small "suds" or white bubbles, cause ba ng blown gasket? wala namang oil sa radiator. hindi rin nagiba yung color ng oil ko nor its level. kasi ayoko naman palit and resurface ng head kung hindi naman sira.

check mo radiator fan motor, baka mahina na ikot nya or minsan hindi iikot kasi worn out na carbon brush or bearing ... hindi yata nabubuksan ang motor, bago or surplus unit lang ang remedyo ... nangyari na rin ito sa civic esi ko dati

kung fan ang problem mo...baka pde papalitan lang ng carbon brush..sa accord ko kasi pinapalitan ko lang..inabot lang ng 300 labor n materials na yun

try flushing the radiator and replace with a new coolant/water mixture..
this will enhance your cooling system and remove contaminants as well..hitting two birds with one stone ika nga..

last resort mo ang top overhaul.. ganyan ginawa ko, kaya lang gastos, atleast naayos lahat...

sign ng needing top overhaul is that, at idle, tumataas ung tubig ng unti-unti, pag rev mo, lumalakas....

pero pag at idle, violently na ang tapon ng tubig sa radiator cap hose, -->top overhaul na yan, kahit di pa naghalo ang tubig at langis!

ok salamat mga sir. Observe ko muna. Nagpalit ako ng thermostat and thermoswitch. Kung magoverheat pa, papapalit ko na head gasket saka resurface ng head.

Hindi naman tumatapon violently yung tubig sa radiator pag idel or rev. pero minsan umaapaw tapos pag sumindi yung fan biglang bababa sa loob ng radiator.

ako inalis ko na ung thermostat ng sasakyan ko para free willing ung pag ikot ng tubig. hehe

wag ka muna magpanic bka trapped air lang yan sa system, pag me trapped air magiging cause din yan ng overheat (kasi hindi gaano ma pressurized ang coolant to raise its boiling point) try mo muna i-bleed and hope yun lang ang problem kasi mahal din palit head gasket,

visually inspect your fans.. malamang mahina na ang ikot or delayed na ang pag automatic.

pag nag rev ako...may tubig na tumatapon...pero hindi "violently"...is this normal? pag nag rev ba may tatapon na tubig?

BTW, nagpalit na ako ng thermostat and thermoswitch...hopefully ok na.

bro, just be aware that your engine will be too slow to warm up without the thermostat and thus affect its performance...

it's better to replace your thermostat.
