New Radiator but still losing Coolant??

mga bossing.. bat kaya ganon ubos parin coolant ko ng unti unti...

bago na radiator ko. pero infact ok lang nagpalit na ako kasi may mga kalawang narin yun dating Rad ko..

pero problema yun nauubos parin..

san kaya ang may tama nito???

ganito sya nauubos.. hanggang mag settle down na ang engine heat,, then kinabukasan,, dun ko napapansin pag gising ko ng umaaga ay bawas na yun coolant reservoir..

humihigop pa ba ito mula sa reservoir kahit patay makina??

pero during driving hindi ito nababawasan...

help po mga sirs..

Obviously the original problem of your cooling system leaking water has not been solved. Have a qualified mechanic give your cooling system a check over. If there is no visible leaks, have him check the motor oil for signs of water mixed in the oil.

BTW, the coolant reservoir should never be filled to "full" because it will simply overflow when the engine is hot. Just fill it up to the fill line indicated on the coolant reservoir bottle. It also helps if you have anti-boil fluid mixed with your radiator water.

it's either you haven't found the source of the leak. or you have a leaking cylinder head gasket... fill your radiator to full, leave the rad cap open, start the engine and keep it running. if there are bubbles, it's the latter. the pressure from the cylinder head gasket forces the water to overflow and escapes through your reservoir.

This is kinda out of topic. Anybody know what is the best radiator flush? I've tried using Preston and Qaucker City radiator flush, parang walang nangyayari may kalawang pa rin radiator ko. Many say Glyco radiator flush is better. Does anybody know where i can get this? TIA
