For me, if I can't buy an original one from casa because of its too expensive price. I go for replacement. I once replaced a lower arm assembly ago for my city 99, replacement part bought. 3 years na, still got no problem with it. And one advantage of the assembly i bought, is the ball joint is replaceable too. Unlike the original, the ball joint comes with the assembly.

Replace coolant/water in your cooling system. It's either replace or overhaul your radiator.

Also water pump working? Usually these fail especially on older vehicles. You can see the water will swirl if the water pump is running.

Some cars require water pump replacement every several years. Nasa maintenance schedule.

Try checking some fuses, especially the fuse for the radiator fan.
Ang thermo switch kasi, para ma-test, if you able to remove it. Submerged mo yung threaded part sensor nya sa boiling/hot water ( needs above 80°c temp to have closed circuit ). Get a multimeter tester (VOM), checked for its continuity in the contact terminal connector. And +12 voltage supply will apply to the radiator fan motor. Kapag walang continuity, BAD na yung sensor switch. Then let say good ang sensor, at inalis mo na sa mainit na tubig yung sensor, habang lumalamig ang sensor, observe mo habang naka-poke yung tester rod mo sa contact terminal nya. Unti-unti magkaka-reading na tester mo, meaning, may resistance reading na( open circuit = no continuity ). No applied +12 voltage will go to radiator fan motor. And you can conclude na, it is not the radiator fan thermo switch sensor is faulty.

Let me add also, yung palang relay ( radiator fan motor relay).

If you mean thermostat valve and thermo switch ( for radiator fan), yes, magkaiba po yun.
