    Mga tol pinapalitan ko coolant ng Adventure diesel ko. Nagtataka lang ako nung dati 8L ang naubos ko at ayon din sa manual 8L ang dapat ilagay na coolant pero ngayong palit ko eh nasa 2.5L lang nailagay ko puno na agad. Na drain naman yung coolant sa radiator. Bat kaya ganun?

    There is a coolant left inside the engine. Coolant drain plug in the engine block is usually located near the thermostat.

    Kung tinatamad na tangalin yung drain plug, just remove the lower rad hose then crank the engine-water pump will spit out remaining coolant inside the block. After successfully replacing coolant, air bleeding should be your next chore.

    Ohh. Dalawang drain plug pala dapat ang tinanggal. Isa sa radiator and isa near the thermostat?. Is it ok to just keep it yung nasa engine or palitan nadin? Thanks!

    Palit na rin. Old coolant are contaminated with acids/heavy metals and abrasives. Flush mo na rin using demineralized water.

    sigurado un kasi humalo na ung galing sa makina at bagong coolant na nasa radiator mo..kung umandar na makina na.

    Naka dami nako ng talyer saka gas station. D nila alam yung coolant drain plug sa engine block. Ang alam lang nila yung nasa radiator. Nagtataka lang ako nung 1st time ko magpalit ng coolant (40k km) parang napansin ko sa radiator drain plug lang ang tinanggal pero 8L ng coolant ang nalagay ko which is tama dahil 8L ang capacity ng coolant based sa manual. Pero nitong 2ng palit ko (80k km) nung tinanggal yung drain plug sa radiator nasa 2.5L lang eh puno na agad. Hmmm

    Di kaya may bara somewhere? pero laki naman disparity ng 8L sa 2.5L. Hanap ka ng Service manual ng engine mo so you'd know where the other drain plug is.

    No, Service manual is the manual or guidebook dealers use on how to fix your car (up to the last screw). sobrang detailed nun. 4D56 ang adventure diba, so look for it sa net. Sa akin nga (Sentra B17 / Sylphy) may nakuha na ako. Nakkaatamad lang basahin sobrang haba.

    Naka hanap nako sir ng shop na marunong sa engine coolant drian plug. Tinanggal muna nila yung termostat para matanggal yung drain plug sa engine block. Surprisingly walang coolant na tumapon sa makina. Nagtataka sila kung bakit hindi nag ooverheat yung sasakyan. After that pina flush ko na tubig then pinadaan ko na yung coolant mismo papunta sa makina. 3L na coolant bago napuno. Then sa radiator 3L din puno na. Dapat 8L bago mapuno based sa manual pero 6L lang puno na. Bat kaya??

    That's interesting. Hopefully you find out why before it's too late. Haven't changed coolant myself before so no idea. Baka may bara. Have u tried running the engine? Baka may hangin (2L worth LOL).

    Chineck nila wala namang bara saka nung napuno na yung radiator binirit din nila makina para daw bumaba yung coolant. Halos 500ML din yung nalagay after ibirit. Sa ngayon ooberbahan ko nalang kung tataas yung temperature. Babaunin ko nalang lagi yung sobrang coolant. Nung pauwi ako galing talyer around 5KM yung layo stable naman yung temperature

    Air pockets. You have to run the engine so that the pump will circulate the coolant and you have to top it off.

    Yup. Rinev na ng matagal but still 6L nagamit. Wala namang bara
