guys help here...need advise lang...nagooverheat yung honda civic vti 97 ko na manual tranny...usually when i rev it during driving upto 3k rpm nataas na sa 3/4 sa temperature gauge.pag idle naman nabalik sa half. i checked my radiator fan, ok naman. the water sa radiator ok din.wala naman tagas...another note...medyo malakas gas consumption ko...nasa 6-8 km/li lang. guys help lang....thanks

bossing pa check mo na lang sa mga good and trusted shops..ke migs ng speedyfix..malakas gas consumption mo? baka worn out na plugs mo? nag patune up ka ba? change oil?

yes sir...nagbabawas ng tubig....siguro every 3 days naglalagay ako sa reservoir....bas sign ba to?thanks sa reply sir....

i've experienced that already, but my reservoir wasn't losing water. the radiator cap can't do its job of getting water from my reservoir because of lack of pressure. my radiator had a teeny weeny leak. still, pa check mo pa rin, coz that might be the culprit.

pa-check mo sa mekaniko. possible culprits are:

1. radiator cap
2. baradong radiator
3. patay sinding fan

mejo general yung info mo binigay, so it's kinda hard to say what the real problem is. mas maganda pag na-diagnose yan hands-on.

thanks sa input guys....i discovered kung ano problema.... nagbara na yung radiator ko....had it overhauled...another question....ano maganda brand ng coolant?

i'd say the honda oem ones (idemetsdu ata brand) w/c you can buy from the casa. it's pre-mixed already so there's no need to do the 50/50 measurement procedure already. if i'm not mistaken it costs P250/liter

kung out of budget ang new radiator, pa overhaul mo na lang ito mga 350pesos lang check na ito kung meron tagas at kung meron baradong linya.

Thanks din sa input... ok na rin auto ko. nilinis lang yung thermoswitch at pina-flushing ko radiator. sobra daming kalawang lumabas. Yung thermostat tinanggal muna at ikabit ko na lang daw pag malinis. nag stuck up na kasi. mas ok ba na bilin orig na thermostat o pwede na yung japan lang?

pa flushing ko uli next week pero without using any chemicals. linis lang.

Btw, purified water pinalagay sa akin. wag muna raw mag coolant after one month na lang daw.. tama ba to?
