    Hi guys,

My 97 Lancer GLXi nabasa sa baha yung compressor niya. Ngayon maingay na siya. it still works pero maingay kapag hindi ino-on. My mechanic says sisirain niya yung belt unless repaired or replace.

    So ito questions ko:

    1. May nagrerepair ba ng Mit-air compressor? I heard dati parang hindi yata pwede, but if anyone here was able to repair his/her compressor, please let me know where.

    2. If replace, anong maspractical?
    a. Replace with Brand new- Mit-air Japan
    b. Replace with Brand New Mit Air replacement (Taiwan)
    c. Replace with surplus Mit Air (Hopefully Japan)
    d. Convert to brand New Sanden Singapore or China?
    e. Convert to surplus Denso

Daming Choices. Ano po ba ang opinion ninyo dito? Of course, I would like lowest cost, Ill probably sell the car na rin in about 1-2 years from now, so I am not too particular about making the parts last soooo long. Thank you

Kung maingay lang and no leaks+maganda pa ang lamig, just have the pulley bearing replaced. Almost all compressors, including mit-air, napapalitan yun.

Sounds good. Kahit saan repair shop ba nagagawa ito, or do you recommend a particular one or particular type of shop for this type of service?

Unfortunately I'd replace it pag ganyan na.

So di na gumagana yung temp control.
