    baka under rated ang alternator mo to drive the ac comp na mataas amps.nddrain batt mo kaya nagstall engine mo,IMO lang.

    it's possible it has something to do with your IACV, have the IACV, throttle body and intake manifold cleaned first, then observe.
    i had it tune up last week....cleaned throttle body, servo (w/carb cleaner???) and adjusted the timing.....so far ok naman sya, i mean it went down to 750 while at idle and rises to 1000-1100 when compressor kicks in. From the message ive read (thanks a lot guys!) looks like 750 is too low?

    by the way, ung iacv ko daw parang sunog na (ung part na parang may electrical) though gumagana pa naman but visible na ung parang burned/blackened look........is this still ok? i asked the mechanic kung pde yun lang ung parang electrical palitan, he said buo daw yun......any thoughts how much this would cost?

    idle up sensors can range from 6k bnew all the way to 15k depending the engine and car in question.

    Mga sirs!!!! wla sanang matatawa ha? san ko ba makikita yung throttle body at ung idle control ba yun? ganito din ang problem ng 94 galant ko. pag naka a/c at naka PARK and NEUTRAL (matic kasi) ok lang ang idle nya. pero pag nilagay ko na sa DRIVE, start na sya manginig lalo na pag inapakan ko ang preno. mwawala lang ang nginig pag nag accelerate ako. pero pag inapakan ko ang preno at tumigil nginig na naman sya. kaya ang ginagawa ko pag nakastop, nilalagay ko sa NEUTRAL para di manginig. di naman sya namamatay. pag start ko ng makina 1000rpm sya(w/out ac) pag nag on ako ng ac. bagsak ang rpm nya ng konting konti lang. pag nilagay ko na sa DRIVE, nginig na sya at bagsak ang rpm to 500-600rpm. paki help naman mga sir. Linis din ba sa TB ito at SERVO. pls help. thanks

    to all tsikoters, i would like to share may problem regarding my civic lxi 99 with the same idle problem especially when aircon is on.I have check & clean my servo but the same problem still. I need your help.

    Pag inaangat ko yung tension wire ng
    spurplug 1, nagrereact ang makina,dinig mong nahihirapan
    same with spurplug 3 and 4
    but not with spurplug 2. Kung iaangat ko spurplug 2, parang wala lang.
    Ive checked my HTW and ok naman.Replaced new spurplug.
    Is it possible na yung distributor ko problema kasi wala siyang naiidistribute sa spurplug 2 ko?

    Anybody experienced thesame thing?
    Please help.

    kung walang response ang cyl#2 ,do a compression test .
    civic 1.5 compression is around 150 psi.

    Check kung may spark ang nr. 2 spark plug. Pwede mo tanggalin ang spark plug habang patay makina. Kabit high tension wire at idikit ang body ng spark plug sa ground, start ang makina. Dapat makita mo ang apoy sa dulo ng spark plug. Kung walang apoy ang problema ay ang high tension wire kung ok ang distributor. Kung may spark naman so hindi sa electrical ang problema, possible na may compression problem ang cylinder nr 2. Check tappet clearance of intake and exhaust valves ng cyl nr 2. Baka lang ayaw na mag sara (tukod, walang clearance). Do compression test kung ok ang tappet clearance.

    ganyan din problema ng friend ko, Mazda kotse nya kung ano ano na pinalitan nya tapos dinala sa casa check-up ng mga sensors pati timing wala nakita, hangang nagsawa sya isang gabi naisipan buksan ang hood habang buhay makina yon nakita nya may tumatalon na kuryente don sa tension wire nya, try nyo muna buhayin kotse nyo na walang ilaw para kitang kita nyo kung merong ganitong problema. baka makatulong po to..:2thumbsup:

    try mo muna, tangalin mo ang spark plug 2 after running the engine for a while. tingnan mo kung basa ang spark plug, meaning, hindi sumusunog ang cylinder 2, i.e, walang koryente tamatakbo sa spark plug mo. To confirm, kabit mo ang high tension wire sa spark plug then crank the engine. see kung me makikia kang spark sa spark plugs.

    For those who have problem re idling of their vehicle pag nag on ang A/C, definitely ang idle up valve nyo is the culprit. di siya bumibigay ng tamang rpm pag nag on ang A/C. Normally, sa idle, 800 to 900 rpm lang pag walang A/C. Pag nag on ang aircon, tata-as iyan sa mga 1000 to 1100 rpm. sa mga carburetor type, check kung gumagana ang tukod sa carburetor to increase the rpm pag on ang A/C. sa EFI engines, check kung bumibigay ng by pass air sa throttle body.

    Sa nag post na 1000 rpm ang idle speed niya then tumata-as sa 1400 rpm, tol, baligtad ata? baka 1000 rpm mo naka n ang air con then pag nag release ang compressor clutch, tata-as siya to 1400 rpm? if so, masyado mata-as idling mo at, baka pinirmis iyan ng mekaniko para hindi mamatay ang makina pag on ng air con.
