how often do uhave yur aircon cleaned?

ng aircon ko dapat daw annually ang
paglinis ng aircon.
Pag makapal daw ang dumi, mas malaki
ang chance na mabutas ang evaporator.

Yan din sinabi sakin. Pero pareho lang, eh. Yung iba namin pinapalinis pa ganun din naman ang life expectancy bago magkaroon ng problema. Kaya tinigil na namin. When we calculated the expenses, mas mabuti pang hintayin na lang masira.

ano ba yung pinapalitan niyo na parts pag nagpapalinis kayo ng a/c? pag nagpaservice kse ako, i replace the expansion valve and the drier. every 2 yrs yon. more than a eyar na yung a/c ng car ng bro ko so far no problems yet.

I agree with Otep to wait until the A/C conks out before having it repaired. For my pizza pie Lancer, it went to 120T km (4 yrs) before mangailangan ng service. Nabutas ang condenser, had a replacement part (local) put on plus the R134 freon totalling 2T lang, wala nang ibang parts na nireplace. Now its running still very good at 162T km.

Tell you what - dont ever get surplus condensers or compressors - marami naman jang mura. If you want AC parts - go to the AC spare parts shop - siguro at 25-50% less than what the shop wold charge you. Ikaw na lang ang bumili ng parts, bayad ka na lang sa labor.

May tanong din ako tungkol sa aircon. Usually when aircon is on and running for quite sometime, with the vehicle at stationary mode, there is a water droplets coming out from the evaporator "drainage"? Sa case ng crosswind ko, may tumutulong tubig sa evaporator sa harapan, pero 'yong evapaporator sa likod alang tubig na tumutulo. I check the outlet hose hindi naman barado. Pero malamig naman 'yong hangin na lumalabas sa dashboard at overhead. Okay lang ba 'yon? Feel ko kasi parang mas maganda kung may tubig na tumutulo sa evaporator?

what do you mean by local na condenser? non-mitsubishi? how much did you buy it and where? thanks.

The expansion valve and drier are not maintenance components. They should not be replaced as long as they are functioning.

i see ur point pero since naka baba na yung evaporator, plus wala ng ring freon, why not replace those parts before they break? experience ko kse sa corolla ko before, pina cleaning ko,ok naman then after a month nawala yung lamig. eh yon barado daw yng exp valve. i should have replaced the exp valve when i had it cleaned. 'cause mejo mahal din yung labor magpa pulldown ng evaporator.

Ah oki. Mura lang kasi yung a/c shop ko, eh. So 'preventive' maintenance is not cost effective in comparison to just waiting for something to conk out.

Have you tried pulling down the evap? Madali lang pala. It's letting the refridgerant out that freaks me. High pressure lines kasi.
