please help. i am experiencing high temp after driving 5 hours on idle. napupuno ng tubig ang aking reservoir tank. I just notice, is it normal when my aircon on and my window open. my aircon automatically switch off after 5seconds and turns on again for 30 seconds and again turns off for 5 seconds... is this normal for a civic 2002 vtec? I have noticed how my aircon switch on and off because everytime my aircon switch off, my two fans will also switch off.

i have the same problem now and from my readings, this could be a sign of a damaged head gasket. you might want to look into it also

gamerdok same ba unit mo? civic es ba? please obeserve naman your aircon activity kung after switch on, open window then please observe kung after 30 seconds, automatic mag off ang aircon within 5 seconds siya nakaoff then on ulit for 30 seconds. my point here is diba dapat matagal na naka on ang aircon considering na nakaopen ang aking windows. saka lang siya dapat mag automatic off after na reach niya yung temperature based sa aircon thermostat. Please HELP

Sira yung thermoswitch (a Php700 part, AFAIK).

So na-isolate naming thermoswitch problem.

Normal naman pag talagang hi pressure yung reservoir ng radiator mapuno kaya dapat talaga sundin yung water level ng reserve, nacheck mo na ba kung ok yung sensor na nakakabit sa evaporator? kung deffective na yun ganun mangyari,as you said pinalitan mo na din yung thermostat, thermoswitch and bagong overhaul na radiator, pero mas ok pa din dalhin mo sa car aircon na alam mo magaling gumawa.
