Kaninang umaga nang pinapalitan ko lang ang temperature sensor, IC sa alternator, and pre-heating timer. pansin ko umaabot na hangang half ang temperature ng L200 ko.
Kahit hindi traffic naka stuck lang siya sa half. Ive been using the L200 for the past 16 years and hindi umaabot ng 1/4 ang operating temperature nito except pag traffic ng 1 hour umaabot siya sa half.
I need your inputs. thanks.

July 21st, 2012 11:10 AM #2If you replaced a sensor there are a few things that could be at work.
First your old sensor could well have been off the mark for so long or the tolerance calibration for the new sensor is different.
And most engines actually idle at half or slightly below half around 75-80C, which is optimal for most diesel engines.
Secondly, if its a 16 year old vehicle, it might need a check up in the cooling loop. But kudos for keeping the old reliable L200 running in what is presumably good condition.
