Can anyone help me out here. What can I use as a replacement for the heat shield under the hood? Thanks

Kung may budget ka: Dynamat or Dynaliner. It's a bit lighter than 'flashband.'
based from the official website
1/4 " thickness
Contents: (1) 32"x 54" x 1/4" (813mm x 1372mm x 6.35mm) Dynaliner Sheet
Total Coverage: 12 ft² (1.11 m²)
Price: $70.00 US Retail
just by the heat insulator from your dealer, hinde naman masyadong mahal yan probably will cost 2k+ lang
is the dynaliner available locally (aside from true value makati)?
One more problem wala na rin yung mga plugs and clips. where can I get those kaya?
As far as I know, Dynamat and Dynaliner are self-adhesive. Best to clean the metal surfaces with solvent (e.g. alcohol or acetone) beforehand, and use a rubber roller to eliminate air bubbles/pockets and promote better adhesion.
Dynamat is usually used for noise-reduction purposes...what car audio buffs call "deadening." Dynaliner is for heat reflection/containment.

AFAIK there's an existing thread about this topic, anyway, attached is what I did to my former Civic EG.
