ano car and model? If it doesn't do that before than it should not do it now.
3/4 is a bit high na. Usually pag overheat sa traffic aux fan yan dahil todo aircon and malakas magpainit ang aircon thus the aux fan. Meron kasi aux fan controlled by the ecu and it could be blowing weaker madami factor talaga puwede din may problema thermostat so easiest is to check aux fan first then work from there

even after the thrermiswitch has been replaced, found out that my accord's radiator fan won't start until the temp reading is at 3/4 . while idling with A/C off, the temp rise upto 3/4 and then the fan starts, then stops after a while. the temp remains at 3/4 level. rev the engine to 3000 for a while and watched the temp reading goes down to below the half mark, and the fan starts. Looks like the thermostat is not opening up properly to allow the coolant to circulate freely and at the same time allow the thermoswitch after the thermostat to readh the temperature for the switch to close.
Scheduling the thermostat for another replacement. (second time). Had to get the original this time.

Ok ba ang water mo sa radiator? Puno naman? Thermostat nga yan if ever. Dapat kasi OEM kapag yan problem.

honda city 2000 type z. ok naman yung tubig tapos aux fan okay din siya... kung hndi ako nagkakamli yung aux fan yung nakatutok sa radiator diba? tapos pag nag-on ka ng aircon, mag on din yung aux fan. di ko pa masyadong kabisado yung kotse ko, first time lang din ako natraffic ng ganun using that car... gnamit ko yung kotse kanina may light traffic pero below half lang yung nasa dash board.. worried lang ako sa next heavy traffic baka uminit nanaman siya ng ganun
