Pwedeng ma DIY yan bro. Just remove the drain plug sa bottom ng radiator until maubos, then once ubos na, tighten and fill half of the tank with distilled water and the remaining half with coolant. Di aabot ng P500 petot ang gastos.

You can do it in open space, di naman sing messy ng oil change yan.

Luwagan mo yung drain plug, yaan mong tumapon habang may continuous supply ng tap water hanggang luminaw. Then paandarin mo for a few minutes para mailabas pati yung nasa block. Pag malinaw na drain it totally before putting the new mixture. Pure distilled water plus coolant.

Well, since you are draining the radiator na, might as well drain the reservoir na lang din. Detachable naman ang reservoir.

Any gas station can do that, just buy the coolant from their store and let them do the flushing for you then just give some tip to the mechanic or whoever did it.

Just make sure you use a catch basin and dispose of coolant properly.

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Antifreeze

Ethylene glycol antifreezes are poisonous and should be kept away from any person or animal (children and especially cats) that might be tempted by its sweet taste. They form calcium oxalate crystals in the kidneys and can cause acute renal failure and death. All spills should be cleaned, or else an area in which it may be present should be kept inaccessible.

Should ingestion of antifreeze occur, ethanol (alcoholic beverages) can be administered until proper treatment can be started in order to slow the conversion of methanol to formaldehyde and formic acid which are the substances responsible for methanol's toxicity. In practice, ethanol can be administered intravenously by doctors to counter ethylene glycol and methanol poisoning, but now that another antidote is available (fomepizole), its popularity for this application is greatly in decline
    Effects on the human body
Anti-freeze turns to acid in the body and drinking just a small amount could be fatal. Nerve endings and blood vessels would be destroyed and tissue in the kidneys, brain and liver severely affected. Blindness and deafness can result and the nervous system comes under attack, leading to violent spasms in the limbs.

try nyo rin po ang ready to use coolant ng prestone. no need to add water na para wala ng mix mix pa sa distilled water. hassle free ka pa.

best to use coolant. aside from increasing the boiling point, it also lubricates the water pump and prevents rust. If you really dont want to use it, use distilled drinking water. Dont use tap or mineral water.

better to drain that too but it's not necessary naman since it will mix in with the radiator contents eventually.
