Do you use radiator coolant?

Actually sinusunod ko lang ung recommendation/instruction na nakasulat sa coolant na binibili ko directly from Honda. As far as I can remember, nakalagay dun na "do not add/mix water". Since the product is from the car manufacturer, I assumed na they know what is best for my ride. FYI, never pa ako naka experience ng overheat sa car ko. With regards to the corrosion, normal na lang cguro na mangyari nga un since 10 years old na ung car. Pero hanggat wala pa naman nagiging problema radiator ko, i will still continue using 100% coolant. IMHO lang naman.

BTW, may mga nakita na rin ako coolant sa ACE Hardware na nirerequire sya as 50% coolant and 50% water. I'm not sure if Preston ba un. Better read carefully the labels para sure.

The OEM coolant from the dealership is a pre-mixed coolant. Adding water would simply dilute it.

Actually Honda's standard long life coolants are remarkably good. 10 years or 100,000 km normally in between changes.

But they have 2 types, if I remember correctly, one is the long life. The other I find more casual.

Boiling point of pure glycol is 197C.

30% or 40% mixture with water is 107C. Hence why 30% is fine.

Your typical engine maintains anything from 82-90C. Going pure coolant does not do you any good.

Because if you think that a higher boiling point would mean better heat transfer, you are mistaken. Pure Glycol is less than 50% as conductive as water and is far more viscous thereby also limited by its high surface tension to spread out evenly and transfer heat more effectively.
