July 28th, 2008 05:00 PM #1Guru's, Does anybody know the exact refrigerant weight for starex dual a/c. Have asked 4 casa dealerships already and all gave me different answers. The owners manual does not have this information. Badly needed this. Thanks in advance

July 29th, 2008 09:13 AM #2i don't have the technical info but i worked on mostly all kinds of vans with dual A/C one thing i noticed , they all have this spec.
R134A 3 LBS. +/- 10 %

r134a dual ac 2.86 lbs

about the recovery if they ( the techs ) want to prove it themselves that they can't get the same amount of refrigerant they put into the system ;
recover and evacuate the system
charge let's say 1 kilo of refrigerant into the system
and recover . the result will be less
