    I would just like to confirm kung compression bearing nga prob nito before i go to mang mario.

    Before kasi umiingay under the hood when i turn on the A/C right away after engine starts. Sounds like "kwik-kwik-kwik" pag magaaccelerate. Kala ko compressor or fan belt. Pero nacheck ko, mukang ok at tight naman.

    But right now, kahit off yung aircon and hindi properly warmed-up yung engine maingay talaga siya when you step on the gas. so kailangan warm-up yung engine nang matagal bago paandarin para di umingay.

    Please advise kung talagang compressor bearing to or other mechanical probs bago ko dalhin ke mang mar.

    ganito muna gawin mo para malaman mo kung belt ung diprensya, pwede kasing mahigpit sya pero damage na ung mga ngipin nya.
    try mo patakan ng tubig ung belt na pinagdududahan mo na maingay, kapag nawala ung ingay nya, malamang worn out na ung belt mo or masyado mahigpit. have it replaced na lang.

    thanks betz. pero bago pa yung alternator and compressor belts nito e. punta na lang cguro ko ke mang mario to have it checked. how much kaya abutin damage nito kung cleaning, oil and palit bearing ke mang mario?

    Try mo luwagan ng todo ang a/c belt mo. Kapag nawala ang sound, suspect the comporessor bearing.

    that kind of noise happened to my car na before...it turned out to be the bearing on the pulley that tightens the aircon belt...di ko pinansin since nawawala pag mainit na yung car kakatakbo...soon enough, the bearing gave way and na stuck up siya...nagstall yung car kasi ayaw umikot ng makina...mura lang to replace the bearing on the pulley...

    Your story reminds me of our Community Medicine Canter. Nag-seize yung a/c compressor pulley. Hehehe. Pati engine hindi mag-start.

    hmmm.... pwede pala ganun? pag hindi umandar ang compressor magstall ang engine? malas naman nun... i'll keep a swiss army knife na lang para if ever mag-stuckup ang bearing, putulin ko na lang agad ang belt para di tumirik

    it was not the compressor that would not work, it was the aircon pulley which is used to tighten the belt to the compressor. kung alam ko sana na malapit na ma-stuckup yung bearing, napalitan ko na lang sana. nung ma-stuckup na yung bearing at tumirik yung engine, niluwagan lang yung bolt holding the pulley para buo pa rin yung belt. sayang naman putulin yung belt kung okay pa siya.

    Madali lang magpalit ng bearing ng pulley, nangyari na rin yan sa akin b4, were on our way to batangas, nasa C5 pa lang kame nang biglang umusok ung engine compartment, tigil ako agad. pop the hood open to see what happened. nakita ko umuusok pa ung bearing ng pulley ng aircon, niluwagan ko sya para maalis ko ung belt. then tuloy ang byahe, until we reached turbina, nakakita ako ng auto supply. tiyempo meron silang bearing for the pulley. bili ako agad tapos ako na rin nagbaklas kabit nung pamalit. medyo umuulan kase hirap walang aircon. hehehe just a matter of 15 mins or less were back on the road agen.

    Anyone familiar with Isuzu Fuego's compressor? Kasi parang medyo maingay ang pulley. Di ko alam kung may bearings ito at kung kailangang palitan. Akala namin nung una yung bearing sa may power steering pulley. Nakita namin na sira na ito kaya pinalitan namin. After mapalitan, medyo maingay pa rin ang ikot. Salamat.

    mga sirs, parang ganito rin ang problen ng oto ko kaninang umaga tumutunog na sya pag-on ko ng aircon tapos on the way biglang nangamoy usok, so pinatay ko agad aircon ayun nawala yung amoy usok. pero nung i-on ko ulit yung aircon dina ito lumalamig, does this mean na nasira yung compressor ko? di ko pa kasi sya nacheck ngayon eh.

    back to the topic here.. ganun din na experience ko vibrating sound pero kapag nka apak ako sa gas.. umiingay masyado... magkano bah PULLEY at belt? sa corolla carb.

    i guess depende rin sa compressor...in my case, walang P500 yung bearing...parang P180 or P280 yata...but definitely more expensive than just the regular pulley bearings...

    Sakin ganun ngayon, lakas kumuka ng power sa engine pag nakaaircon, but not to the point na nasasakal yung oto.

    i went to an aircon repair shop here in our place...free check up at estimate...pero eto naman ang inabot ng estimate nya...

    pull down compressor (service charge) - 650
    inner bearing - 1000
    shaft bearing - 200
    compressor bearing - 650
    freon charging - 450
    compressor oil - 100
    cleaning - 450

    kung nagpagawa ako agad sa kanya e siguradong nasa kanya ang huling halakhak...better pay sir danny a visit since mas malapit un sa min kesa kina mang mario

    afaik oo...may nabasa akong thread somewhere na nagsusuggest na oo daw...kelangan mag charge ng freon while doing this process.

    Yep kelangan mag-charge ng freon dahil idi-dismantle ang compressor para mapalitan ang bearings. Try mo rin i-check yung belt tensioner bearing. Ito yung pulley na malapit din sa compressor. Kasi ako after pagawa kay Danny may ingay pa rin eh so yun ang next suspect ko.
