We got our Honda Civic esi's ac repaired because it was like hell at noon time. After so, it was fine, they changed some filters and stuff. After 5 days, the car started jerking while on the road and freon started escaping in front of the car. Initially, my mom was far from the shop so they went to Caltex to prevent anymore damages. The Caltex people said "servo" daw ang may sala w/c was linked sa ac daw. What they did too was change some spark plugs. So what we did was returned the next day to the shop that repaired the ac. So what happened was that there was a tube and a hose that gave up. The metal tube was soldered, the hose was replaced for a total of.... Tada! 1800! Excluding labor! I have no idea how much it should have been, pero hindi naman branded ung mga ginagamit nila, looks cheapo. Tapos, ung pinaka complaint na biglang nag jejerk, eh hindi daw nila yon kargada! Eh ang sabi naman sa Caltex, sa ac daw un! So the car was picked up by our driver saying the jerk was still there. Nak ng tucha, nakakainis, dinala nga namin don dahil nag jejerk ung makina, eh nagkaganon lang naman mula nung ginalaw nila ung kotse. Going back, is it possible for the ac to cause there things?

BTW, the OBD indicator is always lit up

It's kinda tough to find an honest and trustworthy shop. Been to several, puro backjob, ung iba parang nanloloko lang dahil hindi ako at ung mommy ko in-depth with cars.

Which warning light is lit up? I suggest taking your car to Ceejay's in Las Pinas, let them take a look at your aircon system. If you're in QC or Manila, take it to Abacus aircon shop along West Avenue. There is a big chance that the jerking motion of your car is directly related to the compressor.

If you want a competent mechanic to take a look at your engine, visit SpeedLab along Quezon avenue almost in front of Pegasus. Or you may opt to take your car to SpeedyFix in Mandaluyong (http://www.speedyfixph.com/).

Can tampering with the A/C cause sudden jerks while driving?
