    Electric-driven hydraulic power steering too. Great for retrofitting into classic cars, preserves the desirable feel of hydraulically assisted steering.

    For modern cars, the EPS seems to be more ubiquitous as the traditional engine-driven PSF replacement.

    That's what he actually did. He also retrofitted an eps to his 1970s era beetle.

    Btw, now that he installed an electric a/c system, he says there will now be 2 alternators in the engine bay. 1 exclusive for the a/c unit and the other one for the usual electrical needs of the VW. Parang he made it a bit more complicated considering it was already equipped w/ an Aircon before. Ewan ko Lang kung gumagana pa when he bought the car.
