Update: Nissan Ortigas checked the AC yesterday and gave these recommendations: Replace Expansion Valve Assembly (Part # 92200M, cost = 5,800 + labor), and for further "observation" daw ang Compressor. They tried to charge me 2K for diagnostics, but ended up paying 1,300 because I complained!

Question - will replacing the Expansion Valve fix and lower the pressure? It is currently 80, and believe that the correct pressure is only around 40.

Isabay na daw ang complete A/C cleaning when they install the Expansion Valve (need to order from Nissan Japan and will take 45 days to deliver). All in all, I am looking at around 15k if I listen to these geniuses!

I'm guessing they want me to the spend money, before the actually replace the Compressor, which is still under warranty. I will take it to another Nissan dealer for a second opinion.

    Please advise, thanks.

Grabe pa rin pala service ng Nissan Gallery Ortigas. Ang daming bad reviews sa kanila. Go to Nissan Q.Ave or Nissan Sucat. I'm very sure, maayos service nila dun. Makikita mo pa habang ginagalaw ang sasakyan mo.

Paano ba warranty ng Nissan sa AC? Sa hyundai ko dati wala ako binayaran when I claimed for a compressor and exp. valve replacement under warranty.

I suggest email mo concern with Nissan PH.

Compressor is under warranty, but they are not touching it until the Expansion Valve is replaced (not covered under warranty)! In any event, I emailed Nissan Corporate and every Nissan company that has an email address, and got a response from Nissan Corporate PH. They are currently coordinating with Nissan Ortigas, and should hear back from them soon! I will keep you posted, thanks.

Expansion valve is part of the AC system as a whole. Without it, your AC will not work properly.

Galing naman nila mag reason out sa yo eh contradicting naman explanation.

Read po the fine print. Pag naka lagay AC System eh di kasama yan sa coverage ng warranty.

Finally got my car back yesterday! Expansion Valve Assembly and Compressor have been replaced, plus front wheel alignment and 10 liters of gas C/O Nissan Ortigas. They even refunded the Diagnostic fee they charged me when I first took my car for check-up. I dealt with NPI corporate customer service mostly (through emails) and did not have to wait more than 45 days (as initially suggested by Nissan Ortigas) to get my car fixed. 50K PMS is done as well. The car is running like new again. Thank you all for your comments.

do I need to replace the compressor na, or ipapaubaya ko na sa mechanic yung repair/leak test?

    car: Mazda 323
