aircon start up problem

sir i have a problem with my aircon pag start up. it started few weeks ago lang. my car is a 05 model of camry. i recently painted the door panels of the car, DIY. but then yung smell ng paint at first kumapit sa interior ng kotche. but eventually nawala din yung amoy sa interior, so ok na. ang naging problem ko naman, during start up ng aircon ko. super bad smell ng unang buga nya, as in super sama ng amoy parang may bulok na something. panu kaya maaalis yun mga sir? after mga 15 seconds naman ay nawawala din naman yung bad smell and back to normal yung smell pero cyempre nakakahiya kung may sakay ka tapos pag bukas mo ng aircon sablay agad. please help mga sir. effective ba ang uling?? anu pa kaya pwede kong gawin para maalis yung bad smell na yung during start up? thanks..

Hi Majinbu, i think i've experienced the same problem before actually to my friend's car. At first i did not smell the rotten something in the aircon vent until my friend told me to smell the aircon. He told na may butiki daw sa loob. After a while nawala yung amoy maybe because na immune na rin ako sa smell. First, try mo uling pero pag di parin nawala dalin mo na sa aircon specialist to check the possible reason of that unwanted smell.

ahh ok.. thanks sir.. i think its because of the paint kaya may ganun smell yung akin.. hopefully.. hehe hassle kasi yung kung may butiki or kung anu man.. hehe anyways.. thanks sir.. cheers..

palinis ka na ng aircon, para mawala ang amoy , amoy yan ng mga molds and bacteria sa evaporator. di mawawala yan ng ganyan lang or using car freshener, dapat diyan linisin ang evaporator. para mas maganda pagnalinis na nila pa washing mo pa ng joy dishwashing liquid para mabango at patay ang bacteria bago ikabit ulit.

Aircon cleaning ranges from P900 up to P2,500 depending on the car and where you have it cleaned. It's not much of a DIY job unless you've got all the needed equipment, plus a freon tank. :D

oow.. i see.. mahal din pala.. pero luck me.. medyo parang nakukuha sa uling.. hehe nabawasan kasi yung smell, at i did yung mga tips nung iba na put it on high blower with A/C off.. for ilang minutes before turning off.. ayun.. medyo nalelessen na yun smell.. yahoo.. hehe big help talaga TSIKOT!
