recently had my 2005 altis magnetic clutch replaced at denso makati for 8400 with 6months warranty. breakdown is 5700 for original magnetic clutch + 900 freon + 1500 labor + 300 tip.

before that, nagpaquote ako sa tower of david abot ng 8k, sa maroon naman mga 2500 lang pero surplus or class a magnetic clutch lang worth 800-1500.

Just had my car aircon fixed at maroon. Past shop told me to replace compressor after 'cleaning' and charging freon coz of a leak. Maroon checked for bubble leaks at lines and joints, saw a leak sa filter. Replaced o-ring. Baba ng evap and checked for leaks, no leaks naman. Baba ng blower, ang dumi! Todo linis. After several 'cleaning' from other shops since ondoy, wala ni isang nagbaba ng blower...

Cost is 1.5k, +tip. Includes labor, parts and freon. Kudos sa mga tao ni sir ronnie!

Ps. Sa kanila din ako nagpagawa ng alternator and starter dati. 3 years na, patok pa din.

Dapat kasi sinasabi mo na pati blower linisan na nila since nababa na yun evaporator.

Pag may papalitan na parts lalo na major like compressor and evaporator buy it sa rotary. Ex crv compressor quote sa akin sa denso cool mate was 19k. Went to rotary same item was about 8-9k .

Mahirap lang sa rotary, after mo pakabit then nagka problem, hindi pasok sa warranty ng installer. So bayad ka ulit sa pull down, install, and freon.

Unless yung part mismo ang culprit eh nilalaban ko talaga ang warranty. Say bumili ako ng drier sa parts shop for 150 eh sa "aircon specialist" ay 700, mas mura pa din in the long run

Yung 1rotary is at Evangelista cor. Dallas, sa left side if coming from EDSA, lagpas pa ng INC church. Malapit lang din sa Maroon aircon

    --

slight OT, advisable bang i-convert na lang sa hanging-type evaporator (yung may built in na blower at evap in one device) pag wala nang brand new evap na makita (like for a Lancer boxtype?) parang maliit yata yung evaporator nya kesa sa original OEM for the car

That's BS! if they're good as the claimed, they should give warranty for their works. Madaming A/C shop just as good or better than rotary kung ganyan Ang patakaran nila, huwag na kayo pagawa diyan.

Its brand new maybe less than 1% defective. So what if you pay for 1000 labor etc for re pulldown? When your saving 12000 or more for a brand new compressor???

Which is the better choice among the two? Ceejays is more recommended kasi pero is the 1k worth it?

Just had our cars AC cleaned by krystal aire a while ago. Total cost is 2500 which includes removal of evaporator (front and back), cleaning of blower motor, compressor oil, freon, labor.

Took only less than 2 hours to finish the process with 3 people working on it. Swerte kasi kaunti lang nagpaayos kanina.

Overall, theyre good; however one of my clips got broken (may screw naman yung cladding so forgivable haha) and one clip is missing (rear trunk tray).

4 years of no cabin filter made a lot of dirt on the evaporator. So if wala pa kayo, magpakabit na haha

Question guys; whats the ideal pressure for Montero Sport aircon?
