aircon question for dual aircon vans, warm front cool rear

good day peeps! tanung ko lang what could be the cause when sometimes i turned on the aircon both front and rear eh mas malamig ang rear a/c? Pag front lang ok naman ang lamig pero bakit pag dalawa na ang gumagana parang nababawasan ang sa harap? baka me naka-encounter na nito pakipost na lang kung na solve nyo na or what could be the cause, tnx.

It's true for vans and AUVs which have 2 evaporators... Malamang kulang ka na sa refrigerant (freon or R134a)..... Anyway, since I see that you're from the south, if you like your aircon checked thoroughly, you can go to Cee Jay's here in Las Pinas (along Zapote-Alabang Road) just after Makro and Uniwide MetroMall.... Okay sila!

naexperience ko na ito sa aking '07 L300 versavan dual aircon mas malamig sa likod compare sa harapan nung pinacheck ko sa CASA hinugasan or nilinis lang yung filter dahil sobrang dumi then after that back to brand new na uli. P600 pesos pala yung labor every 3 months ko daw palinis to maintain yung lamig na gusto ko MITSU BALINTAWAK ako nagpapaservice

Was about to make a new thread about my problem but this one is similar to what I am experiencing... but in my case, the front aircon only "cools" when the rear aircon is turned on. Also, the rear aircon is always cooler. Also, what can be the problem if my aircon stops cooling when stuck in traffic, but when the van is moving, it cools up? Many thanks!

BTW, I'm using a 1996 L300 van...

check the aux fan at the condenser unit, it might not working properly kaya when u stuck in traffic nawawala ang lamig then when the van is moving the a/c goes normal meaning aux fan ng condenser mo ang may problem. Kelan mo pa ito na-experienced? kung matagal na check the level of freon kasi kung matagal na yan sigurado nagkulang na ng freon yan dahil baka nag-high pressure na ang compressor mo. kapag kasi hindi maganda ang cooling ng condenser ang tendency mag high pressure ng compressor at magdischarge ng freon.

re problem sa rear a/c pa-check mo muna yung unang nasabi ko then to folow na ito, as i said kung kulang ng freon maaring front or rear ang mawawala ang lamig.

Thanks esnie.com! I'll check the auxiliary fan first. I experienced this dati pa, actually, the first time i had my aircon "fixed" ganun na problema. Btw, how do I know if the aux fan is working properly? Also, how do I check the freon's level? (Sensya na, i really know nothing about automobiles...) Pag daytime, lalo na pag hapon, sobrang init talaga, di kaya ng aircon. pero pag gabi or tagulan, malamig naman... may kinalaman din ba to sa condenser? Thanks again!

ano nga palang nagyari sa mga van nyo sir?deffective aux fan at expansion valve..at sa l300 versa van ay conversion for the condenser ililipat ang condenser na malapit sa radiator.

needed a new (and relatively inexpensive) front expansion valve to cure this problem.

kadalasan ganyan ang sinasabi ng iba..puro expansion valve lang...pag hindi nakuha sa valve..palit aux fan...tapos obserbahan...

yung problema ko parang similar kaya lang baliktad namn.. malamig sa harap pero sa likod ndi na masyado lalo na sa last row seat..sabi ng mga shop malamig namn daw yung likod kaya lang mahina ang buga kaya ndi abot or lumalamig sa last row seat...

baka meron kayong maiisuggest na iba pang solution bukod sa pagpapacheck nung aircon system..TIA

naisip ko lang na gayahin yung mga nasa L300 versa van na merong aircon vent located gilid.. pede kaya? i own kia pregio.. TIA

Dun sa ibang shops laundry list agad ang pinapapalitan. Manila area yun. Gumana naman after. Hanggang nabenta na yun unit.

Sa Urvan, fan muna pinalitan dahil hindi talaga umaandar. Then yung connection sa drier may leak. Finally, may leak din sa joint ng expansion valve. Since nakababa na ac, pinalinis ko na front at rear evap, ok na ngayon. Pumapalo ng 15 degrees celsius yun vent sa likod on cold nights. Nasa 20 something siya pag araw. Wala nang nagrereklamong mainit.
