Please refer to the other coolant threads.

Yes, I use 50% ethelyne-glycol based coolant. Castrol was the brand the last time around. Whiz naman dun sa Vitara.

i think its better to use coolant with anti-rust feature kasi non-sense ang anti-freeze dito sa Pilipinas.

Anti-freeze prevents it from freezing by lowering the freezing point, as the name implies. Also, anti-freeze increases the cooling system's boiling point. This is very effective in hot climates so the cars can run more efficiently than with just plain water. Check the boiling point levels of ethylene glycol and compare it to water (100 deg C).

    They're the same.

But I got the MB bottle, I didn't know there was a NAPA store nearby that sold the Zerex brand.

Neither Autozone nor Pepboys, not even Kraken, carries the Zerex over here. I've checked. Ok lang naman, malapit lang yung NAPA.

With that I also use Red Line Water Wetter.

Bro, ingat ka lang at baka dexcool yan. Ang alam ko caltex ay may ilang version ng red coolant. May dexcool and may regular coolant.
