Is this normal?

i would hear the compressor click and after a split second it would click again (interval between clicks is less than or equal to 1 sec), these would go away and later you would hear it again.

I also noted that after driving high speed, as i slow down the air would become warm, not hot. The cold air will become warm by as much as 40% temporarilly and will revert back to the cool air in a matter of seconds. I find this disturbing because it doesnt happen in the other cars I drive.
